In short: long, cramped and boring. I don't see any point in coming here. Careful with criticism, Arugula does not like this and is rude.
Update from 03/28/2022. A month has passed since my review and clarifications for Arugula. I have not received any constructive response except rudeness, they have been silent for a month. Why I had to ask questions then is not clear. It was possible to go into dialogue and correct the situation, rather than respond to criticism with hysteria.
The food is nothing unusual, although the emphasis is on its quality. Although no one mentioned this concept in any way. Tom Kha soup and mochi are great, but sushi and pinza are dishes that you don't want to order again. Although I really like pizza.
I visited three times, I hoped that they would "rock out", find staff and there would be a great mini-restaurant, that's when I'll write a review. But after three times the same thing, it's time to write a review.
The dish is cooked for 30-45 minutes, even when there is no one in the restaurant except you. With an almost complete landing, each dish is prepared for the same amount. We tried to choose what would be cooked faster - we were convinced that everything was prepared quickly (in fact, everything was prepared for a long time). They warned that in half an hour they would have to run further, the waiter heard everything and brought it only after 40 minutes, as a result, part of the company did not have lunch. No one even apologized. And they advised me to order by phone in half an hour. Conclusion: please warn us how much time you will be preparing earlier, so that it is easier to navigate. Let the waiters be more informative and elusive.
They ordered one dish for two, listened when the waiter repeated the second course with a dish in the singular and not for everyone. As a result, two dishes were brought. Conclusion: make sure the waiter understands everything correctly.
It is cramped, it is clear that visiting does not allow, but I am not the administrator of this institution. There are tables with a meter between each other and it is not very comfortable to talk, and it is impossible to discuss anyone at all. Conclusion: choose tables more carefully and order earlier.
Tea was brought in a glass without handles, it burns your hands for the first 15 minutes, but then you can safely drink the cooled tea. I didn't like the flat white, one robusta and some foam. Conclusion: the serving and the drinks themselves need to be worked on.
Good luck to the owners in transforming the establishment, I hope I didn't waste my time in vain.
