The brightest example of architecture of the late 18th century. Located on a hill above the Sozh River, wrapped in a shady park, the palace is the pearl of the city of Gomel. My visit to the palace took place on 07.09.24. I will immediately say about the park area, since for me it is much more important than all the riches and decorations. The territory is huge, you can make friends with the squirrels who live here. A large number of shops, fantan. The palace itself certainly impresses with its scale and architecture. A lot of exhibits have been collected . I recommend visiting the palace and immerse yourself in the era, it's worth it.

The most beautiful landmark of the city! Wonderful staff, you can book a guide (in advance!) or take an audio guide for 1.5 rubles (many people listen without headphones, which is VERY annoying, but it is also allowed)+ entrance ticket is 8 rubles. A large area of museum rooms, authentic exhibits.
There is a park around the palace where squirrels run, and from above there is a beautiful view of the embankment of the Sozh River. Definitely worth a visit!

There are rooms where it was possible to restore the ceiling finish from the photo, but for some reason they went the easy way and "restored" very far from the original...Why rush it....there is a beautiful view from the observation Tower, but it is better to come to it in advance and in the morning, it is not so hot and there will be no queue (4-5 people are launched in half an hour)

We took an audio guide, it's convenient. But in my opinion, a careful inspection from the outside is quite enough. Drinking coffee and having a snack in winter did not work anywhere - neither in the palace nor in the park, they did not see kavyaren. The museum has a fairly clean toilet, and there is also a WC in the park. The nearest parking is 300 meters away, the train station is a couple of kilometers away.

It's really worth a trip there. The guides are very pleasant and explain it in an interesting way. There is a very interesting story behind this palace, which they will tell you there. The arrangement in the courtyard is simply wonderful, but it is a pity that little has been preserved since those times. On the second floor there is an exhibition with the history of Belarus, where there are all sorts of archaeological things (even a mammoth tooth!). In short, I definitely recommend it

Перед посещением цирка в Гомеле мы посмотрели парк и музей. Экскурсия по музею была короткой. Интерьер . обстановка впечатляют. Предметы старины одежда , посуда - все попахивает стариной и завораживает. Портреты деятелей той эпохиприходилась видеть на картинах и иллюстрациях. Экскурсовод вела себя несколько хаотично , перескакивая от одного экспоната к другому , а потом возвращаясь назад. Кто то пустил слух , что можно подняться на башню. Несколько старушек , по их словам , космонавток , с давлением 120 на 240 , а с ними и я , клюнули на эту удочку и стали подниматься на башню. Каково было наше возмущение , когда на верхней площадке вход на башню был закрыт на замок. Нельзя так шутить над старыми людьми , господа гиды! Впечатление от экскурсии было смазано этим инцидентом.

Стоит побывать. Особенно с экскурсией - но на ее нужно вписываться заранее, летом до двух недель срок. Группы небольшие. Есть аудиогид, тоже интересно, но экскурсовод рассказывает больше другого. С аудиогидом потом пошли ещё раз в спокойном режиме уже. И экскурсовод не водил нас в башню, только нижние этажи.
Есть конференц-зал, используется именно так сейчас, там галерея портретов заслуженных уроженцев этой земли. Их количество и биографии впечатляют. Даже только ради этого зала стоило бы сходить. Но сам дворец прекрасен ( мы жители Петербурга, видели очень много, есть с чем сравнивать). Если не ищете особых артефактов и оригинальных вещей ( их тут немного), стоит идти ради знакомства с историей семей, сильно повлиявших на здешние места, и эстетического удовольствия.

Дворец прекрасен, под стать красавцу-городу.
По дворцово-парковому комплексу можно прогуливаться хоть целый день!
Множество интересных локаций, неожиданный рельеф местности, соседство с хорошо благоустроенной набережной, обилие кафешек и наличие аттракционов - не дадут вам заскучать. Фотографий можно сделать великое множество и самых разнообразных! Для прогулок всей семьёй, для влюблённых, для друзей, для компаний, для рабочих коллективов и экскурсий - место просто класс!
Экспозиция самого дворца разнообразна, персонал приветлив, а аудиогид (всего за рубль) расскажет о каждом экспонате сполна. Живой гид - ещё интереснее!
Всем советую тут побывать!
