The city park can be compared with the most beautiful parks in Europe. If you came to Gomel and did not visit the park, you have lost a lot: a beautiful embankment, alleys, an amusement park (for fans of such recreation), a rich history. The park itself is open to the public, if you want to visit the Paskevich Palace and the museum itself located there, you need to buy entrance tickets.

It is very clean and beautiful. There is a guard. The promenade is amazing. Slavs are everywhere (very pleasing to the eye).
The city itself is very clean (there are garbage cans at every intersection and at the bus stop). Not a single cigarette butt anywhere, not a single spit (as in Moscow. There is no place for a foot to step. We were very upset when we returned to the capital of Russia, we remembered Belarus with its clean streets and Slavic faces.

It 's a great place. You can also study history and take a walk. I advise you to climb the observation tower with binoculars and explore the surroundings from a height. Do not forget to take nuts and seeds, feed the birds and squirrels. For museums, it is better to take a Gift museum certificate for 2 people for 10 Belarusian rubles. Included are visits to the Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace (the central part and the tower), the zoo, the Winter Garden and the grotto.
