I liked everything. Delicious food. Very nice staff and fast service. Everything is fresh and hot. The buffet breakfast is a good choice, very tasty. Unfortunately, there is no lunch menu on weekends, so I couldn't try it.
The wish is to add a lunch menu for the weekend, not just on weekdays.

We had a buffet two days ago. From the entrance, we were greeted like dear guests: culturally, kindly, escorted to the distribution line, oriented what and how. The food is delicious, fresh, and there is quite a large selection. My daughter has little teeth, but she managed to collect and eat 2 plates of all kinds)) At prices of 18 rubles per adult, children under 12 are half the cost. I think every penny pays off. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and delicious breakfast, we will be happy to come again!

When staying at the Molodezhnaya Hotel, which is next to the Suitcase cafe, breakfast and dinner are offered in this cafe. Buffet breakfast is 17 rubles per person, dinner is a la carte 11 rubles per person. Prices are current for November 2024. But, the most interesting thing is that under all these conditions, you can eat without staying in a hotel. That is, they just came from 07.30 to 10.00 and had breakfast. The price will be the same.
Now about the food. It is diverse and, most importantly, very tasty. The only disadvantage is the speed of the coffee machine. And yes, to pour boiling water for tea, you also need to use a coffee machine. Therefore, when there are a lot of people, there is a queue.
The cafe itself and the decoration. In general, everything is stylish, modern and without any pretentiousness and pathos. Comfortable sofas, a sufficient number of seats.
Staff. Separately, I would like to highlight the courtesy and responsiveness of the staff. At the entrance, they will always smile at you and say "Good morning" and wish you a pleasant appetite. And when you leave, they will wish you a good day.
In general. Everything is great. If I'm in Brest next time, I'll definitely look in the Suitcase. You are the best.

We stayed at the hotel and were really counting on this cafe. We had a good dinner on the day of arrival, the food was delicious, the service and prices were pleasant. We went down for breakfast in the morning - and then there was a shock, cockroaches were having breakfast with us at the table, it turns out, and with the company. The next day, they were already in the room where the Swedish line was directly covered.

This is the only place that frankly disappointed us in Brest. Or rather, the way we were greeted and served. I came to Brest with a friend for only 2.5 days, during which time we visited everywhere we planned, we were delighted. A friend studied the Internet, found a lot of positive reviews about this cafe, many recommended this cafe and especially dumplings with cherries. We left this dish for last, to eat before the train and leave ourselves only pleasant memories of Brest. However, not everything is so simple, we came to the cafe at 10 a.m., we were informed that dumplings were served only from 12 o'clock, it was unpleasant, but we warned that we would come and that we wanted dumplings with cherries, we were assured that everything was OK, there would be dumplings. Since our train left at 14.08, we arrived at the cafe at 12.30 with our things, in anticipation of a delicious lunch. But we were disappointed, they said that there was only one portion of dumplings with cherries, it had already been ordered, we asked them to make us, because it was stated that they make dumplings themselves, but the waitress or the administrator (there was no badge) said that other dumplings were being molded now and they would not do it to us, and in a rather boorish The form was offered to choose from what it has. I took dumplings with cottage cheese on the spot and dumplings with potatoes and mushrooms with me, I must say right away that everything was very tasty. A friend tried to order more dishes with cherries, but nothing was available. We took another business lunch with us on the train. At first there was a pickle, we decided to eat it right away, since there would be no opportunity to warm it up on the train, I did not like it, it was not tasty, there was no meat at all. The second one had dumplings with chicken breast, I just threw them away, they were terribly dry, for some reason they forgot to put sour cream on us. That's the impression the cafe made on us. We are very disappointed with the attitude, because it was not difficult to order two portions of dumplings with cherries in the kitchen, and not to be rude, well, or at least apologize if there were simply no berries available, it's a pity…

There are "non-DUMPLINGS" too: decent portions of salads, minicabs, and draniki (which are everywhere today, but very decent here). There is an opportunity to pre-order: interesting and delicious pies, the "EASTER" basket this year was good both in quality and in filling and price. Bottom line: the "forecourt" here is only geographical; for SUCH food, prices are low; service is improving (after the "generational change" of waiters). It is recommended to visit.

The cafe is more on Sovetskaya Street, but I wanted to find it near the Bus Station to wait out the time before the bus arrives. And we were lucky, we found a wonderful cafe with an unusual name "Suitcase", at first we thought it was a store, because the name was written in large letters, and there was an inscription at the bottom:dumplings,... The interior itself is very simple, I can't say that it's cozy.
But it's clean. And most importantly, it is very tasty. We took dumplings with rabbit in cheese sauce and mushroom sauce, borscht is also delicious, excellent lemonade. And the prices are nice.

That's why we ate dumplings. I took it with smoked salmon in cream sauce. A very tasty portion of 250g costs 8 rubles .
But I will recommend a cocktail to all the girls, in my opinion it is called a Cremberry, one was not enough for me!
The taste is incomparable, with sourness and citrus notes - it just won my heart.
My husband took the pies, they are small and of different shapes depending on the filling))
I took a pumpkin set, couldn't handle it- packed it with me, didn't forget to put a fork and a knife for a cake.

ON NORMAL DAYS, THERE IS SUCH A CHOICE, BUT NOT ON THIS DAY, there is one dish from one to choose from. Of course, we, a family of 5 people, wanted a variety and went through the menu, but the waiter firmly assured us that this was not the case, this was not the case, and in general we close in an hour for special service, so if you want to eat quickly, then order a business lunch menu. The question is - why do you need to open for a short time to visit and offer only a business lunch, without a choice of dishes, if special service is planned - just to cut down more money? Agree, the idea is crazy and not many people will like it!

There was also a piece of cucumber lying under our table. Accidentally stepped on, and would not have noticed. Before leaving the cafe, they noticed that the toilets were almost put in order (the urns were empty), the sinks were cleaner.

Salad with tomatoes and pesto is medium.
The duck pasta was disgusting! There was no duck as such, just a piece of skin. I understand that chefs save money, but not that much!!! The pasta itself was too salty, it was impossible to eat.
The sinks are good, delicious.
We will not go to this cafe a second time and I will not recommend it. For the same money, there is a much better cafe!
