Fish with vegetables - fish is good, but vegetables are at the dining room level. 23 rubles for such a dish and such a portion is considered too much.
It's a good cafe, the food is not bad in places, but for reasonable prices there is a reduction in the portion, which reduces the cost of meals. The cafe itself is not suitable for a long rest or dinner, rather to run in, have a snack and move on.

I don't know what caused the dramatic changes that have taken place in two years. I visited the institution for the first time in 2022 and was absolutely delighted. About a year later, I was here again with the children. And they were also very pleased. Therefore, when visiting Brest at the end of April 2025, we did not even consider other options for lunch.
But lunch turned out to be late - around 18.00. Guided tours were served. And although the veranda was completely empty, it was not possible to eat due to the fact that "the cooks do not have time." Okay, we had a snack somewhere else. But we came here for dinner anyway.
And now, actually, about the changes. The establishment, which positions itself as a "dumpling bar", could not offer anything from dumplings and dumplings except for poultry dumplings. The rest is "over." Okay, we took all the same things + draniki (well, at least they seemed to remain unchanged). Tea with sea buckthorn 395 grams was ordered from the drinks. But they obviously brought a smaller capacity. And when the guys at the next table saw another drink in a large glass, they asked the waitress if she had made a mistake. And they heard stupidly, "we just don't have big glasses." A strange explanation. At least I thought of bringing a second cup of tea after that.
In general, we agreed that we don't come here anymore.

After watching the positive reviews, we decided to visit this institution with our family. I'll point out right away-we are not picky people!!!
What objectively I did not like was the attitude towards a person (in particular, towards the individual taste preferences of a child). I'll explain!!! The child eats very selectively. Nothing came up on the menu, so we bought him food at the store, but the staff not only refused to heat the food, but also forbade the child to eat what they had not bought from them. Although at the same time, 5 adults from our family made full-fledged orders. Meanwhile, the child was waiting for us to be served so that he could eat in the car.
Another big disadvantage is that they forgot to cook one of the ordered dishes. We started making it after being reminded that it hadn't been brought to us.
I liked the beef and cumin dumplings.
But there is no zero customer orientation!!!!

We went into a cafe and were greeted by very pleasant waiters, they even offered a blanket for the child to keep warm, I was touched, then we ordered soup for the child, as it was hot, they even offered to throw an ice cream to cool the soup faster. The dumplings are delicious, and the pies are great too. Thanks a lot to the waiters. We were warmed, fed, and served at the highest level. There are "non-DUMPLINGS" too: decent portions of salads, minicabs, and draniki (which are everywhere today, but very decent here). There is an opportunity to pre-order: interesting and delicious pies, the "EASTER" basket this year was good both in quality and in filling and price. Bottom line: the "forecourt" here is only geographical; for SUCH food, prices are low; service is improving (after the "generational change" of waiters). It is recommended to visit.

Buffet breakfast is 17 rubles per person, dinner is a la carte 11 rubles per person. Prices are current for November 2024. But, the most interesting thing is that under all these conditions, you can eat without staying in a hotel. That is, they just came from 07.30 to 10.00 and had breakfast. The price will be the same.
Now about the food. It is diverse and, most importantly, very tasty. The only disadvantage is the speed of the coffee machine. And yes, to pour boiling water for tea, you also need to use a coffee machine. Therefore, when there are a lot of people, there is a queue.
The cafe itself and the decoration. In general, everything is stylish, modern and without any pretentiousness and pathos. Comfortable sofas, a sufficient number of seats.
Staff. Separately, I would like to highlight the courtesy and responsiveness of the staff. At the entrance, they will always smile at you and say "Good morning" and wish you a pleasant appetite. And when you leave, they will wish you a good day.
In general. Everything is great. If I'm in Brest next time, I'll definitely look in the Suitcase. You are the best.
