It is an open-air museum where sculptures made by Metin YURDANUR, a well-known sculptor from Sivrihisar, are exhibited. It is a must-see when you go. There are Armenian church, Sivrihisar Rock Clock/Clock rock, gavur bathhouse in the immediate vicinity. Metin Yurdanur was born in 1951 in Sivrihisar. He spent his childhood and teenage years here, among the ruins of the three-thousand-year-old Phrygian, Roman and Seljuk civilizations. Dec. 19, which was located in the yard of his father's iron workshop. and 20. he played games with antique materials belonging to centuries. With the influence of thousands of years of historical artifacts and antiquities, he began to feel interest and love for three-dimensional forms. At the university stage, his choice of a department related to art can be based on this basis. he graduated from Gazi Education Institute Painting-Business Department in 1972. between 1972-1978, he worked as a teacher in teachers' schools and high schools, and between 1978-1981, he worked as a modeling teacher at the Painting-Business Department of the Gazi Institute of Education. Dec. the project of the Municipality of Ankara in 1979 to equip the city with plastic elements? within the scope of it, he prepared various sculpture designs upon the incoming request. These are the Hands in Abdi Ipekçi Park, the Heritage in the Railway Station Square, the Solidarity in Batıkent today. the artist, who started working freelance in 1981, has more than 100 sculptures around the world. Some of them are located in Germany, Japan, Hungary, Libya, Turkmenistan, Mongolia and Cuba. in 2005, he opened a one-year exhibition entitled I am Anatolia, I am the Republic, I am the People, consisting of more than 50 sculptures at the Ankara University Faculty of Agriculture campus. The exhibition, which is repeated every year at a different university and shares culture and art with students, academics and the people of the region, has the distinction of being the first and only one in Turkey. There is an open-air sculpture museum where the artist's works are exhibited on an area of about one hundred thousand square meters in Sivrihisar. Restoration of Sivrihisar Municipality Metin Yurdanur Culture and Art House and Sculpture Garden located in the same area T.C. It was completed in 2016 with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Eskişehir Governorship and Sivrihisar Municipality. This historical mansion, which belongs to the artist, is on the list of registered cultural assets and is located next to the Surp Yerrortutyun Church.
