A great market with good sellers. It is always a pleasure to visit it. As for the clothes, the prices are reasonable and the assortment is good. The fruits on the counter always look great, they do not weigh down the rot and do not throw it up. Unlike the wonderful "central market" in Moscow. The Smolensky Market in Vitebsk is a monument of the 90s era. There are a lot of goods on the open market. All the low-quality goods that are available in Moscow at Gardener can be found here at inflated prices. I don't understand why you should come here and buy things when there are marketplaces and hypermarkets. The only place you can go is to Smolensky, it's in a closed food pavilion. There is no normal parking. Or where you can park the car, there are signs about the ban. Autumn - Spring - rain and mud... huge puddles. It's high time to demolish this place and build a normal convenient modern market.

For a regular market (not a shopping mall), in principle, it will come off with a strain. The range of clothing is so-so (for MEN's SUITS it is still tolerable (there are two points with a good choice in the central row), but for WOMEN'S SUITS it is terrible). WOMEN's OUTERWEAR is normal only in a large through pavilion near the toilet (I don't remember the number-I lost my business card). There is a huge selection of jewelry in the very center of the clothing market (an island between the first and central row). MEN's SHOES are not in short supply there, there is a lot to choose from, but I want to note the pavilion in the central row opposite the women's shoes (the guy is the seller). Sneakers there are generally fiery in quality and you can even grab firm ones, but there are single sizes. WOMEN'S SHOES are normal only in two places: the central row. A piglet with shoemakers (there they all stand in one pile). There is pavilion 121 - a small pavilion with high-quality shoes at sooo reasonable prices (I even came across a sale for 10 rubles there, remember-I love freebies). And across the place there is also a pavilion (the exterior is finished in brown). There, the shoes are on top in quality and style. The skin slips (really), the prices are different (there are cheaper ones, there are some that bite a little, but, honestly, the quality is worth it).

The Smolensky Market in Vitebsk recalls the 90s. There are a lot of goods on the open market, but the quality leaves much to be desired, and the prices are too high, as in the Moscow "Gardener". I don't understand why you should come here to shop when there are marketplaces and hypermarkets. The only place worth visiting on Smolenskoye is an enclosed food pavilion. Parking is inconvenient, and there are forbidding signs where you can park your car. There are mud and puddles here in autumn and spring. It's high time to demolish this place and build a modern market. Nevertheless, there is a large selection of goods here, the prices are reasonable, and you can bargain — sellers make concessions. You can find almost anything on the open market. It's cozy and clean here. You can buy everything from groceries to industrial goods. It is especially convenient for summer residents, as the market is on the way

It was 02/24/2023 however! We came from the Smolensk region, Dorogobuzh. The attitude towards guests from a neighboring country is through the lip, as if we are buzzing flies and prevent them from trading. There is a ruble exchange rate here, we were announced 1 to 40. We said it hurt! But they explained to us that we shouldn't have come at all and they don't care about us. I was pleased with the toilet, even now I laugh, a hole in the concrete floor.... We wanted to see the city, but the mood changed, we went back. It's a shame... we won't eat anymore, thanks for the hospitality, I won't forget for a century.

Friendly and welcoming hosts, but they live in the basement all the time. Do not forget about the time of the fiesta and the neighbors.
