The highest point of the Georgian military road. Very picturesque places open from this site. You can sit for hours and look at the mountains, the sky, listen to the wind or silence. The coin lake at the very foot of the mountains attracts the eyes. The last time, however, it was not possible to admire the beauty, there was a very strong wind and cold (in August).

My favorite place on the way to Tbilisi . The Arch of Friendship between Gudauri and the Cross Pass. It was erected in 1983 in honor of the friendship of the USSR and Georgia.

The site is large, the views are beautiful, but there are problems:
- there is no normal toilet, the one that costs 3 GEL (too much for such conditions - a hole in the field and a hose with water)
- at the available attractions and retail outlets, they were very reluctant to communicate in Russian
- even parking is paid (several lari is unclear for what). All cars are parked on the dirt road.
