We booked an individual tour of Yerevan when we were vacationing in Tsakhkadzor.
Everything was done at the highest level.
Nice clean car, rich and interesting program.
But the most important thing is the guide.
Mikael is just a wonderful person - pleasant to talk to, intelligent, delicate, impressed by his deep knowledge of Armenia and his great love for his country!! He answered all our endless questions.
I adjusted the schedule and route to suit all our wishes.
We had a great time and were very satisfied.

In the spring of 2025, we traveled around Armenia for 7 days with an incredibly interesting and sincere guide, Mikael. Everyone who has visited Armenia will certainly return from there, overwhelmed with emotions and impressions. The purpose of our trip was to go skiing in Tsakhkadzor and at the same time get to know Armenia.🫶🏻 Thanks to Mikael for giving us the opportunity to comfortably travel from north to south and show the beauties and antiquities of Armenia and surprise us with interesting places and stories. Lake Sevan and Sevanavank are a monastery on the northwestern shore of Lake Sevan, the beauty of this place is indescribable. Garni Temple is an Armenian pagan temple dedicated to the sun god Mihr, a place with incredible energy. Mikael told a lot of informative things and explained the features of this place. We were fascinated by the guardian cats of this place, we named one cat "The Sun". Geghard is a unique monastery complex, the Monastery of the Spear, very impressive. Overall, we are very glad that Mikael was with us from the beginning of our arrival in Armenia and thank you for your support in our difficult situation, where he showed patience, care, and support! And he has a great sense of humor.🫶🏻😁 It will be interesting and comfortable for you, just like at home.

We've been going to Armenia for 20 years, visited about 50 countries during this time, and finally, having picked up the weather, we broke out, hooray! In a word, excellent. On a global level. For the second year I have been traveling in Armenia with Mikael and for the second year I have been leaving my heart in this wonderful country. So much beauty, interesting stories, memorable places, delicious food, sincere people can be found only in Armenia! Every time I go on a tour, I think that there is nowhere more beautiful and every time Mikael proves the opposite. Sometimes, I can't believe that I see all this with my own eyes, it's not a picture from the Internet or a frame from a movie. Recently, we used the services of the Soul of Armenia travel agency to go on a tour to the Ijevan Mountains. It was an unforgettable experience! We were amazed by the incredible beauty of nature: mountain peaks, picturesque landscapes, clean air. Every day was filled with new experiences.
I would especially like to mention our guide, Mikaela. He is a true professional in his field! His knowledge of the history and culture of Armenia, as well as his ability to tell fascinating stories, made each excursion incredibly interesting. Mikael not only showed us the main sights, but also discovered for us the hidden corners of the Ijevan Mountains, which will not be told in the guidebooks.

We were on a tour of Khor Virap-Areni-Noravank with guide Mikael 05/25.24. We really liked everything, in addition to the main route, the guide showed us several interesting places along the way, such as the village of storks; a place where under a huge mulberry tree locals bake delicious pies stuffed with many herbs and make great cheese. In the village of Areni, hospitable residents treated us to a variety of homemade drinks and we couldn't resist buying a magnificent pomegranate wine. Mikael talked about everything in an interesting and not trivial way: about the history of Armenia, traditions, we were in this country for the first time and we were interested in everything. Mikael is a very intelligent young man, he answered any of our questions, had an interesting conversation, it was very comfortable with him, he also advised us an excellent restaurant in Yerevan - Yerevan Tavern and recommended delicious dishes to us, we took his advice - the restaurant was wonderful! Very hospitable, kind people live in Armenia, and we wish prosperity to this country.

When I chose the tour, I didn't read any reviews about the organizers. But now I can say that I will join all the laudatory and enthusiastic reviews. Mikael is a sensitive and attentive guide. The trip with him was very comfortable - he doesn't rush anywhere, he tells and shows us interesting things, and the pictures he took of us are just a bomb. In early June, while vacationing in Tsakhkadzor, we visited the sights of Armenia.
Our wonderful guide was Mikael, whom we decided to contact based on the recommendations of colleagues, as well as after studying the reviews of other tourists. And indeed, Mikael is a guide who knows the history of his country very well, an excellent driver and a very pleasant person, attentive and responsive.
We visited amazing places: the pagan temple of Garni, built in the I century; the gorge of the Azat River with a Symphony of stones; the Geghard cave monastery, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; Lake Sevan, where the Sevanavank monastery is located.
Throughout the journey, Mikael talked about the history of Armenia, about the places we visited, gave us time to explore them and offered the best camera angles.

Heartfelt thanks to Mikael for three bright days in sunny Armenia.
On the first day we got to know Yerevan, remembered the great musicians, learned about the kings and could not resist the fantastic desserts in one of the restaurants.
On the second tour, we plunged into the depths of centuries and the coolness of Lake Sevan. It seemed to us that we saw almost everything and doubted about the third longest trip, but it exceeded all our expectations. The views that opened up in front of us were simply breathtaking; the power and wisdom of the ancient monasteries were felt in the heart, and the "Symphony of Stones" sounded not only in the gorge of the same name, but also in many other places!
I would like to note Mikael's very comfortable driving style, which is especially important on the mountain serpentine, as well as a competent level in every sense!
Take trekking shoes with you on mountain excursions! Just keep in mind that you will want to "eat" these species with your eyes and you can forget about smartphones)).
From the bottom of my heart, we recommend it!

Our morning began with breakfast in a beautiful area of Yerevan, where Mikael brought us.

Every time I fly from Armenia, I understand "The distance that I fly in 3 hours from Yerevan to Moscow, my heart goes on foot for a long time."
But let's start with what do you want?!Just visit as many iconic places as possible and cheaper, put "✔️" that were in Armenia and forget about it - this is definitely not for Mikael.
But if you want to fall in love, return and, while on vacation in Armenia, already think "When is the next vacation, do I want to come back here?", then this is definitely only for Mikael. A professional.
I am happy that it was he who revealed to me the atmospheric, inexplicable Armenia, about which, before my first trip in May 2023, I knew only Armenian cognac and Mount Ararat.
Mikael speaks with great love, inspiration and dignity, fascinatingly about his country, its customs and sights, patiently and in detail answers any questions. A very versatile guide with knowledge of history, erudite and intelligent, polite, with an amazing sense of humor, very attentive to details. And he has some kind of magical quality to feel the moment, the mood, the desire (or unwillingness) of tourists. And as a magician, he will turn on exactly the right music, or offer wine / cognac, or shut up, or say what you wanted to hear right now.
And how he drives a car...Extra class!
The best places and locations (and not only the most famous ones), aesthetic pleasure, mind-blowing photos and videos, delicious food for every taste and a constant desire to return to Armenia - all this you will get with Mikael.
And how much patience he has is still a mystery to me!
How on a previous trip he helped us solve the problem with a non-working card and where to get the money is a separate story.
I recommend Mikael without a doubt!

We were on an excursion with Armen. I liked the guide very much - it's nice to listen to a competent calm speech. As it turned out, Armen is a philologist, and from the first minutes of the journey he was very enthusiastic and knowledgably told us about the origin of the Armenian language and writing. We heard many things for the first time and never stopped being surprised. It was very interesting.
The first stop was an observation deck overlooking Ararat.
Then we briefly stopped at the Azat reservoir. As we drove, the view of the mountain peaks was replaced by completely Martian landscapes.
The Azat reservoir is a quiet and peaceful place, nature in all its glory, the photos turned out wonderful!
Then we went to the Garni Temple - a must-visit place! Not only the temple is beautiful, but also the nature around it. I wanted to take my time and stay there longer. But it was necessary to move on.
Next to the temple there is a Stone Symphony - it's just a masterpiece created by nature, the place is incredibly impressive! We took a bunch of photos, but they certainly don't convey the beauty of this place.
After that, we went to Geghard, a beautiful monastery with a rich history and strong energy. It was a pity, it was crowded, and there was not enough time for a walk.
By this time we were hungry, and the guide took us to a place near Lake Sevan, from which we all were completely delighted!
Thanks to Armen for good driving, for the love for his country, respect for its centuries-old history, pride for
his people, he told us about Armenia, and for fulfilling our wishes, too, thanks).
The tour was in a comfortable and safe car.
