My father, Alexander Mikhailovich Shestopalov, studied at school No. 12 in Polotsk (then the school had a different number) in 1956 - 1958. Then he became a test engineer of space engines in Voronezh. He always spoke very highly of the school. Especially about one teacher. She was in a partisan unit and she was shot in the throat, so there was a strange sound of her voice. I saw this school when I was visiting relatives in Polotsk. The school is beautiful!
