The cathedral is next to the cemetery, which is now called the Orthodox cemetery, and very helpful people in the church shop stopped by after visiting the cemetery.

A very good, beautiful and solid cathedral named after St. Nicholas. This is the southernmost of the Orthodox churches. In recent years, the rector Bishop Pitirim has been here, during the years of his reign he has done a lot for this cathedral and parishioners. The cathedral itself was reconstructed, it became better and more beautiful, as an Orthodox cathedral should be. A spiritual and educational center for children was built. He managed to attract patrons to provide assistance to the elderly and single people in the form of food and medicines. Thanks a lot to him for that! A small choir of children was formed, sometimes concerts are held on holidays. The cathedral has been transformed during this time and it pleases. Now there is a new bishop here, Bishop Pavel, who was transferred from Russia, and Bishop Pitirim was appointed to Russia. I would like to say and attract virtues and patrons from Russia, pay attention to this cathedral. There are still Orthodox Christians here and they need your help, help in any matter. After all, virtue is a good and Holy thing. So is helping the Cathedral.

We were at the temple before the trip to the Pamirs. The soul must rest before the difficult path. St. Nicholas accompanied us on the way. The temple lives and grows. There are few parishioners, the church needs help. There is a Russian Orthodox cemetery nearby. I recommend the Temple to visit.
