For those who love when everything is nearby, the perfect place, the rooms are not new of course, but very clean, cleaning and linen change (towels, slippers, bed linen), every day, wet cleaning every day, two rows of plastic windows safely protect you from the noise of the area that never sleeps) although he sleeps in the morning)) from 5 to 9), who are used to holidays a la Antalya, this is not about Istanbul, well, at least not for that kind of money. Therefore, look at the purpose of the trip and interests.

It's the most terrible hotel I've ever seen. The room is very small, the photo was taken well done from some very good angle, the shower is all rusty and there is no place to turn around even the thinnest. The most terrible thing is the location, no one writes anywhere, but it is important, even though it is close to Taksim walking street, but the neighboring entrance to the hotel sells alcohol and there is a video mania all night, music is screaming, people are screaming, walking until the morning, we could not sleep at all even with the windows closed, if you plan to sleep in the hotel then this is not an option, not a safe area with drug addicts, trans people, etc. Everything is still on a big rise, you will have to go uphill everywhere, so it's better for people who want to relax not to consider these areas. It was also the first time I saw a non-friendly staff, in Turkey, of course, we are used to other Turks, but here it is. I strongly do not recommend this hotel.

A great hotel for the unassuming. Modest, small, but absolutely comfortable. When planning your first trip to Istanbul, of course, it is difficult, focusing only on maps and attractions, to guess the location, but after staying at the hotel for a week and visiting many areas of the city, we realized that we had not lost at all! We can safely recommend this hotel, and we ourselves will be glad to stay in it again. The staff is friendly, you can't hear the neighbors, except that some rooms overlook a fairly busy street, who doesn't like this - a closed window (and earplugs) will provide you with a comfortable sleep ;)
From the airport, you can either take the metro to Taksim or Shishkhane and walk to the hotel (10-15 minutes), or use the Havaist-16 transfer bus (170 lira), which reaches Taksim Square and from it 10 minutes along the popular Istiklal Street, then there will only be one turn left to the hotel itself.
* There were no problems with Wi-Fi, stable connection and speed.
** photos of rooms and the hotel on the Internet fully correspond to what we saw upon arriving at the hotel.
The room has a refrigerator, tea station, ironing board, soap dish and slippers, but there are no bathrobes and dental kits.
Also, during the stay, the drain was clogged and about taking a long shower, water leaked behind the shower doors.
