The cafe is on the level! 5/5 From the interior to the cooked food!!! 5/5 The tower is amazing...!!! As you enter the foyer and the theater hall, everything is unusual, interesting and intriguing. Headphones with translation.!!! The performance begins... We were waiting for someone's WOW!... BUT! All the artistic finds, the unusual presentation, the unique dolls.... The ridiculous plot of the play negates everything. It's like they took pieces from three performances, they didn't make it clear how... they didn't understand the plot... You're sitting there thinking: You're going to understand what the director wanted to convey to the audience... but... and so the enchanted ones left.

We haven't been to the theater itself. We walked sooo much and looked at the architecture. A beautiful and unusual theater. We have never regretted that we were in this place. Nearby there are places with souvenirs, coffee and wine. Georgia - I want to return there.

An extraordinary theater, as well as the creator of the theater. Required to visit. I watched the play Alfred and Violetta. Touching, gentle, philosophical, sad and very Georgian. Madloba, master and students!❤️

A must-visit! It's so cool inside! The room is very cozy and has balconies, and a telephone with an axe) and trains with glowing windows in the dark took me somewhere out of the real world. I was on Ramona, I was just going to watch, but suddenly it turned out that I could listen too: they give headphones with a Russian translation at the entrance to the hall!

An interesting landmark of Tbilisi, one of the most iconic in the Old City. Very good accessibility, I recommend visiting and watching a small performance festival.

A great place in old Tbilisi. A very unusual building with a clock on the tower, which strikes every hour with the release of dolls. The street nearby, unlike the whole old town, is very well maintained, it is one of the best tourist destinations. Nearby cafes, art salons, the residence of the Patriarch. The hall in the theater is small and cozy. The performance is in Georgian, there is simultaneous accompaniment in headphones in Russian with the sweetest Georgian accent (it looks like Rezo Gabriadze himself read it). The play about the legacy of the French marshal is a direct continuation of the famous story about the matchmaker Khanuma - it's a firework of humor! This is a must-visit place!

I don't know about the inside and the performances, but from the outside it's very colorful, beautiful, original, a separate attraction of Tbilisi.

I've been looking for this place for a long time, not all the locals know about it, and they are ready to tell me the way. A lot of tourists visited this landmark . I liked the peculiar architecture of this place.

Tbilisi State Puppet Theater named after Rezo Gabriadze Cultural institution in Tbilisi. Located in the historic district The old town, on Shavteli Street, 13. The landmark of the city, a very pleasant place, we could not get into the theater itself, but we walked around the city with great pleasure.

A lot has already been said about this place and it is unlikely that anything will be added. Performances are just something, and tears, and laughter, and a return to both childhood and adult relationships. It's great if you can buy a ticket. The place is a must-visit, don't even think about it. The chamber atmosphere completely takes you into the events that are being played out on stage. It's a very atmospheric place.

To be honest, it's a little sad to write a negative review, but I can't keep quiet. We flew from Moscow to Tbilisi in many ways with the aim of visiting this theater. The tickets were bought in advance on January 3rd as a gift to ourselves for the New Year. What happened? The performance was canceled and we were notified about it by mail only three hours before the start of the event. What is the reason? And no one could clearly answer why the performance was canceled. A man in a cafe at the theater said that the ticket website and the theater were not synchronized with each other. How did it happen? Why are tickets being sold for dates when no events are planned? Why is there nothing about this on the official website or on the official pages on social networks? We can't visit the theater another day because we're flying home. The event was not held, but the letter asked to leave money for tickets to support the theater. Excuse me, why support a theater that doesn't necessarily care about its own audience? I definitely can't recommend this place. Score 1/5 for a ruined evening.

A visit to the Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theater left a pleasant impression. I liked the atmosphere in the theater and the plot of the play. The theater is a cozy and soulful place, and the lobby creates a special atmosphere with the opening day of the works. The presence of a line in English and headphones with a Russian translation makes the visit accessible to everyone.

I never write badly, but now I couldn't stand it! Rezo Gabriadze is a brilliant artist, what would he say to his actors now if he found out that they canceled the play twice: on December 15, and then on December 17, the reason is not difficult to guess, people don't give a damn. And this is the intelligentsia? What do they want? There is a good saying: "Do your job well and the world will be a better place.. People came from all over the world to see the miracle of Gabriadze's genius, and they saw the grimace of his theater doors closed in front of them!. The feeling that they spat in everyone's soul... where is the Georgia of Danelia, Gabriadze, Sergo Zakariadze, a small bunch of provocateurs shaming Georgian culture!

If you haven't been to this theater, you lose a lot! The wonderful atmosphere will amaze both adults and children. We laughed with pleasure, were sad and surprised at the performance of Ramon. I didn't want to leave! A kaleidoscope of emotions! Tickets were bought on chairs in the first row in the corner for 160 GEL. But we didn't mind overpaying, given that all the seats were sold out. I managed to see the director of the theater out of the corner of my eye - Leo Gabriadze (dada! He was playing Kin dza dza)It's a pity that the restaurant at the theater with an unimaginable man-made interior was closed.

A place to visit if you want to get into the spirit of Tbilisi. Rezo Gabriadze's performances are imbued with kindness, naive trust and benevolence inherent in the Georgian people. The genre of the puppet theater continues a number of visual images created by the artists Pirosmani and Gudiashvili. It should be borne in mind that the hall is a chamber and tickets must be purchased in advance.

A visit to the theater is worthy of a description for an entire book. A small cozy room. There are individual translators. The puppets are amazing. The actors who control the dolls are masters of their craft. At some point, you begin to perceive the puppets as real actors (although they are not real)

A wonderful atmospheric place. A small foyer. A small hall. We bought tickets online - a friend paid with a Georgian card. The performance was in Georgian with simultaneous translation into Russian - headphones were given. If you like a philosophical Georgian view of the world with elements of absurdity and humor, you are welcome here. We watched the Georgian version of the Lady with Camellias. The interior is beautiful!

A very interesting place to visit with an advanced local expert guide👍 We had a David who colorfully told us about all the secrets and secrets. Just watching a free show in the tower at 12 and 19 o'clock is not enough, you must definitely find out about all the details. Then we went with him on a tour of the courtyards of Tbilisi for about 3 hours.

The theater treated us, the audience, badly. The performance was postponed. It was held at 4 p.m. We were not informed. We arrived at 6.30 p.m. It was dark. No ads, no employees. There is no information on the website. Is it possible to treat the audience like that? The money for the tickets was not refunded, they say, the performance has already passed.

A wonderful production and a magical atmosphere that is difficult to convey in words. You should definitely visit this theater if you come to Tbilisi. But you need to buy tickets in advance through the theater's website, since at the box office before the performance, most likely everything will already be sold out.

I learned about the wonderful Puppet Theater of Rezo Gabriadze in the largest reference catalog about Georgia - madloba.info . This theater is one of the oldest cultural institutions in Georgia. I found out that the performances in it are designed for adults and children over 12 years old, and currently the program includes 4 performances: "Autumn of my Spring", "Stalingrad", "Ramona" and "The Diamond of the Marshal de Fantier". It is very interesting that some productions are in Russian, and there are also subtitles in English, which makes it accessible to different visitors. It is also interesting that the ticket price starts from GEL 70. It is also interesting to know that free minute-long performances of the theater can be seen on the tower of the building daily at 12:00 and 19:00 hours. I really want to visit the Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theater and enjoy their unique performances. Thank you very much madloba.info for such useful information!

A colorful theater! However, it does not cost cheap 70 GEL. It didn't really come to choose the play, I went for what it was. The play was in the style of mimino. I liked the game of actors and dolls. The play was in Georgian, and headphones with a translation into Russian were given at the entrance. There are performances twice a day, the hall was full, although not small.

This tower does not fall, it was built that way! That's what our guide told us) The structure is new despite its deceptively ancient appearance. This is the tower of the puppet theater. Every hour an angel comes out of the upper window and strikes the bell with a hammer as many times as it is time. And at 12 o'clock the whole performance begins: figures leave the lower window. They tell the story of human life in five short scenes.
