The surroundings of the tower are surrounded by a very beautiful park, which is worth a visit. I especially recommend going down the trail, following the signs, to enjoy the stunning views both day and night. Nevertheless, it is impossible not to notice that the tower, although impressive in its scale, looks rusty and abandoned. Such a huge structure with a potentially magnificent observation deck could become one of the main tourist attractions of Tbilisi if it were brought to mind and opened to tourists.

The tower is located on Mtatsminda Mountain (which is climbed by a funicular) and it towers over the whole city.
In the evening, the tower is brightly illuminated.
It is a pity that there is no observation deck on the tower itself.

Tbilisi Mtatsminda Park. A great park for relaxing and walking. There is a cafe, restaurant, carousels, petting zoo, Ferris wheel, etc. You can make good viewing frames on the observation deck. There are 2 ways to visit: 1. Funicular, 2. On foot. We chose the second one and did not regret it. And you? ;)

You can watch it a couple of times.But there is one "BUT" when you buy a card for a tram ride on a funicular, ask for the price.They sold it to us for 50 GEL and the fare is cheaper.In general, check it out.
