One of the best museums in the world! It's worth buying a ticket in advance, but you still have to stand in line.
It's very stuffy inside in summer, it's worth stocking up on water and planning a route in advance or seeing what specific attractions you want to see. If you allocate one day, you can see almost all the famous paintings. They are marked separately in the guidebook.
I recommend visiting the jewel room separately!

I visited this cultural masterpiece in the fall of 2023. I think there is no need to say that the Louvre collection is worth seeing, there are a huge number of exhibits. Therefore, I would like to note that a trip to the Louvre in one day will be more of a challenge for you, rather than a pleasant pastime. Of course, if you have the opportunity to make an appointment in advance, this is the best option. However, I did not stand for long in a rather large queue at first glance to the museum itself (about 15 minutes). It took longer to buy tickets (about 30 minutes) for cash. Self-service vending machines were not occupied by the word at all.

Просто потрясающий музей! Ездили с супругой в декабре месяца 2022 года очень были удивлены! Множество картин известных художников, а также скульптуры известных скульпторов! Нашему удивлению не было предела! Цена очень приятно удивила за вход всего 15€ с человека! Очень хорошо работает сеть WiFi! Локация просто супер! А больше всего меня поразили украшения известных королей и королев старых времен! Очень всем советую обязательно побыть в этом историческом месте!

Когда мы жили под Парижем, я ходила в Лувр каждый день. Там котировался студенческий билет русского художественного колледжа. Художники в любые дни работают масляными красками в залах музея, и это там не запрещают, не то, что у нас! Весь лувр не обойдёшь - это точно, поэтому я посмотрела, прежде всего, Афродиту Милосскую (Венеру знаменитую, без рук, если кто не знает), зал Микеланджело, Рембрандта и, конечно, Леонардо, даму с горностаем, даму с фероньеркой и, конечно же, Джоконду, Мона Лиза. К сожалению, она выполнена не светостойкими красками, поэтому в зале полумрак. Очень мешали смотреть японцы, толпящиеся вокруг и щёлкающие вспышками, несмотря на то, что это запрещено. Стоит полицейский и повторяет, как попугай: "Но Флэш!", но его никто не слушает и все снимают. К картине подойти было почти невозможно. И это очень жаль, что я мало посмотрела на Джоконду. Вообще, я ездила в Париж только ради художественных музеев. Была во всех. Лувр впечатляет.

Обязательно резерв заранее и удобная обувь.
Аудиогид только на английском, точнее не только но на русского его нет)

Ищите 817-819 зал в крыле Ришелье.Тут рядом живут Дюрер ( первый автопортрет в истории) и Босх ( корабль дураков)Два шедевра уровня Джоконды.Спрятались от туристов и Рубенса.к 11-13:00 без билета приходить не нужно. 4 часа в очереди на вход проведете.Учтите,что выход из Лувра через подземелье и лабиринт Торгового центра.Тут хорошо только диггерам.

But the queue is smaller. We arrived at 14.30 and went in at 15.15.
Toilets are only downstairs. You need to get out of all the halls completely.

Tickets are freely available, admission is strictly according to the time indicated on the ticket. And even under this condition, there is a queue at the entrance and inspection for about 30 minutes. Russian Russian version of the map is available, but there is no audio guide in Russian. The museum is interesting, time flies by unnoticed.

Now the photos are full of tourist pictures up close. The museum is changing views and expanding horizons. After we went to Starbucks, it was located there.

Очень большой, многолюдный, раскрученный. Но есть минусы; очереди купить билет, и очереди войти; хотя с недавних пор работает сеансовая он-лайн касса но все равно очереди не ушли! Второй плюс очень сложная навигация.

Точно с утра и до закрытия весь день придется отдать Лувру! Музей в Европе каждое первое воскресенье месяца бесплатно, но лучше в такие дни посетить менее людное место. Все , что внутри музея-великолепно и прекрасно, есть лавочки вдоль окон с видом на площадь, где можно посидеть и отдохнуть.
