Pretty lame to me as an artist maybe not my style but please take into note that I also visited place like the vatican museum in Rome for example. HayArt across the street is much better to me even tho they got less art to look at.

Interesting for an afternoon. The local area is full of galleries and museums as well, and it's right by the blue mosque

Unexpectedly, a very cool museum! From the outside it seems completely inconspicuous, but inside there are spacious halls filled with art. I liked the modern part with young artists more. I highly recommend taking a guided tour! In 1.5 hours, we were given the most structured material on the exposition.

An interesting place for amateurs.
On the plus side: it works daily, even on Sundays. They allow you to take pictures. An affordable price.

A good museum would probably be worth taking a guide. But they didn't offer us, and we were embarrassed about something. It was difficult, however, to find the entrance: repairs are underway outside, everything is blocked off, and there are no signs. I had to go to a nearby museum and check with them. The exhibits are interesting. There is almost nothing in Russian, only at the very beginning, where there is still left from the time of the museum's opening, from Soviet times. And also in Armenian and English. Of course, it's understandable, but still. I recommend you to visit.

It is difficult to find, as it is located on the 1st floor of an apartment building built in the 70s and there is no bright obvious signboard. The locals helped me find it. There are 4-5 interesting authors from the exhibition. If you don't have much time, then you shouldn't waste it on this museum.

It was very instructive to visit. A message from the USSR. Art, contemporary to that time. There is no avant-garde. There are few really interesting works. But in general, it is a very complete slice. The halls are spacious and comfortable. There is an exhibition hall opposite, and current exhibitions are held. There are very few visitors.

I went there skeptical after the Art Quarter, but
After visiting, I was impressed.
I found some very interesting works for myself.
There are two halls in the museum. I liked the permanent collection area more.

A very good collection of paintings and sculptures, very interesting. With careful consideration of the works, you can spend more than 2 hours visiting, if you run - 15-20 minutes. The entry price is relatively biting, but it is rather exchange costs for August 2023, In general, I recommend it.

A video dedicated to the author's work (in April 2023 - Banksy) is broadcast in three languages (Russian, Armenian, English) + a small thematic exposition. Not bad, but the space is very small, the exposure is small, but the volume is too high. The cost of the visit is 3500.

It's not a bad museum, but it objectively lacks two elements: a wardrobe and signatures to the works. Signatures are strictly necessary, because the works are created from a lot of different materials, and they are not even indicated

One of the best museums in Yerevan, where the works of artists from the period 1960 to the present day are presented. The entire collection of the Museum is the gifts of the authors themselves. It became the first Museum of Modern Art in the USSR and was held thanks to art historian Henrikh Igityan.
It is highly recommended to visit Yerevan!

I don't even know, two or three weeks ago tickets to the exhibition of Frida Kahlo's moving canvases were 1,500, today they are 2500 :) and it's also so interesting that the one on the ticket has been corrected to a two. It left an unpleasant aftertaste. And the exhibition itself is well normal, but definitely not for 500 rubles. I was not at the main exhibition. I'll put 4 for support, but stop milking tourists already

I liked the museum. Of course, it is smaller than in St. Petersburg or Moscow City, but the expositions are interesting, the set of works is not boring, and in general there is no feeling that you want to leave any of the halls as soon as possible.
I postponed this visit for 2 months, because I read a lot of negative reviews. Now I understand that it is in vain. The museum is worth a visit

2500 drams for a very mediocre animation of Renaissance paintings is too much. Apparently, everything that Russians do here should be at least twice as expensive. And I will keep silent about the very poor-quality performance of the exhibition. The projectors have hooked lamps, some radiators hang on the wall, along with the picture, the Activate Windows inscriptions are still visible, the OS taskbar itself, and in general the picture is very poorly configured.

The art objects are beautiful, the room itself is also beautiful, but it is very difficult to enjoy the works because 2 female employees of the museum are talking and laughing non-stop.. It's super hard to concentrate!!! the whole impression of the museum is ruined.
