The website says they start working at 8 a.m., we arrived at 8:30 a.m., the girl at the checkout said they had maintenance until 9:00 a.m. I don't know how much of a "fuck off" response it was, but maybe it was true that something was being fixed there. The cable car is excellent, clean and freshly renovated. In the morning, plus, there are very few people, because the second half of the cable car (up to the top) opens two to three hours later than the ticket offices. The downside is that, in general, nothing works, the store and restaurants seem to open later.

700 lire for a lift on July 25th. At 1,700 meters, it takes about 20 minutes to get there. I recommend getting up by sunset and taking your places in the queue in advance for the descent after sunset. The night descent is just as impressive. Be sure to wear warm clothes in the evening!
