A must-visit. Don't be greedy and take a guided tour. The story of the genocide is shocking to the core.

An atmospheric place, but the park around it does not seem well-groomed, if desired, you can make a cool place to relax and visit

A special place in Yerevan is the memorial and museum of the memory of hundreds of thousands of the Armenian Genocide of the early twentieth century (the peak of the massacres occurred in 1915). A tragedy little known in Russia. The stele is divided into two parts - in memory of the part of Armenia located on the territory of Turkey, where the Armenian population was either exterminated or expelled. The Eternal Flame is surrounded by tilted slabs in memory of the regions in Western Armenia where the genocide took place. The Museum tells about the fate of many figures of Armenian culture and science who became victims of the genocide. The bookstore has a lot of materials on the history of Armenia in different languages.

A must-visit place!!! You can visit for free or take a Russian-speaking guide for 2500 drams per person. We did not regret for a second that we were there with a guide!

Tsitsernakaberd is the name of a hill that has become sacred to the locals. In 1967, a memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide appeared here. Twelve stone slabs and a 44-meter stele symbolize the unity of the people. Next to the memorial there is a museum with photographs and descriptions of terrible events.

To visit this complex, you need to lay at least half a day. The historical facts of the Armenian Genocide are presented here on a detailed scale. It is very interesting for those who want to understand the root cause of how it all began and how the world allowed such atrocities against the Armenian people!

The place is beautiful, with its sad history, it's a pity that it has become so unkempt, yellowed, somehow abandoned... even if the flower bed was lit, sad music was not heard this time, but it creates a very sad, mournful atmosphere

The park is rather unkempt, it is necessary to put the thickets and bushes in order. The complex itself is in good condition and makes an indelible impression.

The museum is free. People are cruel creatures and do not know how to negotiate. To learn lessons for now too

It's a very emotionally difficult place. It's beautiful, but behind the beauty lies grief and horror. It is necessary for those who are not familiar with the history of the Armenian people to visit in order to understand what this people went through.
