I have to write this review. I checked into this hostel from February 8th to 10th. Later, I handed my four bags to the front desk at 1 pm on February 10th. Later I found that my I didn’t bring Apple’s charger with me, so I returned to the hostel at night and checked the luggage and bags I had stored. The result was nothing. The next day I found the staff member who had stored my luggage for me and asked her if anyone was there Opened or take away my bag ? she said no, I said I put my charger in the bag and backpack but the charger is not there, can I check the monitoring ?she said she gave me the charger at that time!!! But in my impression, she didn't give it to me at all. She might have given it to the wrong person, so I want to check the monitoring, but she didn't let me check the monitoring either(because she's afraid of taking responsibility)
and had a bad attitude!!!

A super cozy place where everything is there for a comfortable stay!
The choice of housing began with different aggregators, and almost all advised Urban both in terms of location and price
The location is really the best option, as there is a shopping center, shops, and a metro station within a 10-minute walk. I was lucky, as most of the excursions started from Freedom Square, and all this is very close to the hostel
From 8.00 to 22, a cafe is open where you can have a snack and a delicious breakfast, coffee beans, from the machine, delicious!
The hostel looks great: clean, cleaning every morning, bed linen, which is nice to sleep on. I think it has only recently opened, although all the places are occupied and there are a lot of people who want to settle
Internationality on the face: people living from Nigeria, France, Korea, the Russian Federation and Belarus itself - it's cool, communication is positive!
The staff is friendly, will always help and tell you everything if you have any questions
It is convenient that you can leave your suitcase at an early check-in and go about your business, and check in later, the same thing when you leave!
I used the sauna: very comfortable, new sauna, not a sauna, it's not hot, it's nice to be in it. I was given a bottle of water and towels, my time of stay was indicated, I booked it in advance
Every day and every evening there are some activities, unfortunately, I could not get to any of them, as I returned late from excursions, but the schedule is interesting, there is a desire to attend the events of the Public Speaking Club!
There are enough showers, if not individual ones, then the general washroom has always been free!
Of the disadvantages of the door: it really slams very loudly and does not always close easily.
In general, I am delighted with spending time in the hostel, I will come back again!

We rested in a family room in August 2024.
The hostel is conveniently located in the historical center, near beautiful squares. There is also a shop nearby, but not very many ordinary cafes with local / European cuisine (there is a cafe in the hostel itself, but I took only coffee there, the quality is good).
We were settled for a long time, almost 30 minutes with waiting, but there is water and tea in the waiting area (free of charge).
The hostel itself is clean, there are showers and toilets on every floor, there were no long queues. The hot water was turned off, but there are boilers.
Of the minuses, there is almost no Internet in the evenings (Wi-Fi was practically not loaded, and the Russian number did not receive a password to log in at all; the local mobile Internet also practically did not work in the evening) and a very small kitchen. There is no stove at all, there is only one refrigerator, sometimes products had to be literally crammed in.
There is a small gym, and some events take place every day. The staff is very friendly.
The place is very good, but be prepared for the fact that your "neighbors" can be heard through the wall, for problems with the Internet and a small kitchen (one of the advantages is that you can take a plate or mug to the room, because there is practically nowhere to eat in the kitchen).
Souvenirs and basic necessities can also be purchased on the ground floor.

Wonderful hostel! The price for such a location is almost ideal (almost, but not completely — because it's still a long way to walk from the station))
The staff is very polite and always ready to help. Comfortable beds with stripe satin linens, as in hotels, even in dormitories. You can sit on the top tier of beds without resting your head against the ceiling (but maybe you can't if you're a basketball player). There is a pocket for personal items right in the headboard, convenient!
The hotel hosts events every day that are free for guests: meetings of the public speaking club, the travelers club, stand-up, and so on. It's a good way to spend a dark winter evening when you're not going for a walk anyway.
There is a cooler and tea, things can be left in a locked room. The Internet is flying. In general, it's beautiful! There are several grocery stores nearby, within a kilometer radius, and some are open late. The Belarus Hotel is a 15-minute leisurely walk away with a gorgeous observation deck, and the huge Gallery shopping center is 20 minutes away, where the grocery store is open even after midnight.
There are two things that don't spoil the impression, but I think they need to be improved.:
- the coffee with milk from the coffee machine at the reception is VERY sweet. Of course, it shouldn't be that way.
- there are not enough hooks in the bathrooms. Let's say one is for towels, the other for clean clothes — but where should I put what you came in? :) to be fair, I wasn't in all the bathrooms, maybe there are more hooks somewhere.
I wish the hostel prosperity and fame. I hope to be able to visit you again soon.

I, an avid traveler, really liked it. Clean, cozy, friendly. There is a cafe at the hostel, you can have a delicious breakfast and not too expensive. At the reception there is an opportunity to purchase a SIM card, a tourist card, very cool. The rooms are full of places for things, I lived in an 8-bed women's room. There are individual shower rooms, also shared. There is a lot of space to relax, on the ground floor the room is equipped with a piano, a guitar, and an iron)) in general, I definitely recommend it. The choice of Urban Hostel was due to its proximity to the city center and the main attractions. It turned out to be convenient for quick movement around the city, especially in hot weather.
Transport accessibility and location:
🏙️ Central location: The hostel is located in the central district of Nemiga, close to the metro station of the same name and the embankment, which provides easy access to the main attractions.
Transportation: The proximity to the metro station and the main streets makes the hostel an excellent choice for tourists.
Facilities and service:
Rooms: We have booked a family room and a shared female room. The rooms are clean and tidy, but not adapted for people with limited mobility. The lack of elevators, ramps and bathroom fixtures makes living less comfortable for people with disabilities.
Communication: Pleasant and prompt communication with employees via Telegram. The possibility of paying with Russian cards through the hostel's website.
🛁 Sanitary facilities: Face and body towels are provided in the family room, while body—only towels are provided in the dormitory room. Public toilets and showers are kept clean, but sometimes it can be wet after the morning rush of guests.
Problems with hot water: One day there was no hot water, and the staff did not immediately solve the problem. When we contacted the reception staff complaining about the lack of hot water, at first they reacted with disbelief, saying that this could not be. When checking, it turned out that there was really no hot water, the employee suggested using showers for staff. Moreover, Anastasia, one of the employees, expressed dissatisfaction and assumed that she was being played, which created a feeling of inadequacy and lack of customer orientation.
🥘 Cafe: There is a cafe downstairs of the hostel where breakfast is served. The menu is limited, but allows you to choose something to your taste. However, the service time may vary, which should be taken into account with limited time.
Disadvantages and problems:
🚫 Maladaptation: The hostel is not adapted for people with limited mobility. There are no elevators, ramps and special rooms.
Lack of air conditioning: The family room had air conditioning, but the dormitory room did not have it, which made the stay less comfortable in the heat.
Noise: The doors in the rooms are slamming loudly, and the sound insulation from the corridor leaves much to be desired.
Atmosphere and activities:
🎉 Social areas: Lots of public spaces where you can work, relax or chat with friends. Every day there are events that can be attended for free or for a nominal fee.
Final assessment and recommendation:
Overall, Urban Hostel left mixed impressions. On the one hand, the hostel is conveniently located, clean and tidy. On the other hand, the lack of adaptation for people with limited mobility, problems with hot water and not always an adequate response from staff reduce the overall assessment.
I recommend:
- For tourists who value the central location and transport accessibility.
- For those who are looking for budget accommodation in the city center with the possibility of socialization.
We do not recommend it:
- People with disabilities and people with limited mobility due to lack of adaptation.

A cool hostel with its own philosophy and style. Clean, neat, smells good both in rooms and in wet spots. Respect to the girl Irina at the reception and the girls in the cafe, who fed croissants to our big company for two days!
Among the disadvantages: a small cafe, a very small kitchen - you will not be able to sit there. But there is a large recreation room on the 1st floor. There's a piano and a guitar! And lots of upholstered sofas and chairs.
The Internet is stable internally, but very slow - you can add a little bit of speed.

I am very glad that I stayed here. I lived in a shared women's room for 8 people, the bed was perfectly prepared (made up, there are storage places, personal sockets and a lamp), everything was clean, it was pleasant and comfortable to sleep. The hostel also has the opportunity to take a towel on deposit, which also made it very easy to collect things for the trip :)
The hostel has both shared and personal shower rooms, a sauna, a gym, a kitchen, common areas for rest and work, a cafe with breakfast, and, importantly, events in the evenings! Unfortunately, it was not possible to get to any of them, but the alley is great for travelers who would like to meet new people.
The staff is very polite, they will always help, tell you if something is unclear.
The hostel is located very conveniently, almost in the very center, everything is within walking distance.

Excellent hostel, excellent location (within walking distance of many tourist attractions). The staff is beyond praise-they are always ready to help, they told us everything in detail, showed us. An affordable price. The hostel is located in the city center, everything is nearby: the Bolshoi Theater, the central metro station, the Vistula River, many cafes and shops, historical buildings of the city. Admins are responsive guys, it's clean enough everywhere. The recreation room hosts youth themed parties, there is a small sports hall, a cafe on the ground floor, and a cozy courtyard. Interesting roommates: a lot of foreign youth. Not boring) But! Dear owners, make a large kitchen, now you can't even turn around there together. We had a great time with our family. I highly recommend this hostel. The prices are reasonable, the interior is interesting, the rooms are tasteful, I liked the family room - the child was happy to sleep on a two-story bed. We were pleased with the sweets and water as a treat. There is a wonderful recreation room with board games. Great hostel, small, very clean. I took an economy room with a bunk bed, but everything is very sound. The room has a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning. The linen is made of stripe satin, the mattresses are comfortable. In common use - kettle, steamer, microwave. The only inconvenience is a shower and toilet for 2 rooms, but it is acceptable for this price. In 5 minutes there is a shop and a Children's Art House with an excellent buffet where you can buy ready-made meals (there is a watch inside, but they let you into the buffet). If I go to Minsk again, I will stop there again.

Great hostel! The city center, excellent location, the most interesting things in the city are within walking distance. I didn't take a photo, but it matches the description. The place is simply gorgeous, everything is great for the convenience of guests. Thought out to the smallest detail. Friendly atmosphere, high-level staff, lounge area with activities guitar, carpet, projector, many sofas, rocking chair liked, people of various nationalities, interesting communication with all visitors. Toilets and showers on every corner, there is a small gym (minus the gym that is next to the rooms of residence, well, if you exercise during the day. It is better to perform it in the recreation area on the carpet. There is a hair dryer in the common bathroom, hot water around the clock even when turned off, you can rent an umbrella if someone needs it, convenient access and Parking space. The location is in a quiet place, there are some entertainment for the residents, but I was not interested in what. It's pretty clean (not up to perfectionism, but not running) in the toilet there is paper, multicultural design, flags and all that. There are a lot of interesting young people. There is a good kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, countertop for a snack and reheat (not for cooking) for two people. A towel is given out as a symbolic pledge, there are many paintings everywhere, there are photos, the floor covering is everywhere except for living rooms tiles. A cultural place for cultured people, no smoking, no drinking here.
Everyone is welcome and friendly.

Convenient location in terms of walking distance from the metro is not far. Nearby there is a beautiful drama theater, a small square and a nemiga with bike paths and mobility aids (scooters, bicycles). The very center of the city, the historical sites of the old town in the district. The staff knows several languages, Russian and Belarusian English.

A comfortable, clean hostel. At the reception you can buy toothpaste and a brush, shampoos and gels, slippers, you can rent a lock for a safe. Downstairs there is an event area, a small gym, a coffee shop with breakfast. Very nice staff, explain everything in detail.
The only thing I recommend to girls and women is women's rooms, so that women's baths are closer to you. If you choose mixed, you will need to go up to the bathroom on the floor above. It's not problematic, but I'll mark it anyway.
I am very pleased with my visit to this hostel. It reminds of St. Petersburg "friends"

Of the advantages, convenient location, good mattresses, clean bed.
There were so many disadvantages that we regretted that we did not go to the hotel.
1. Dirty. It's dirty everywhere. A bug was found on the wall in the room, greetings from the last tenant. You can't go into the showers and toilets without crying.
2. The biggest disadvantage is the restrooms, which are not enough for so many residents! Still, they wash at the same time, either in the morning or in the evening. On each floor there are rooms combined with a bathtub and a shower, there is a queue in them. There is only 1 such room per floor! Not only is it difficult to get there, they are constantly breaking into you, if you are in them, at least hang a lamp, by God, busy or free, like on trains. And now you will understand why. The worst solution is to combine showers and restrooms in one room. There are 2 such rooms in the hostel for men and women. There are only partitions, you wash, you try to take a break from a difficult day. And we tourists walked 20 thousand steps a day to hear someone going to the toilet in the shower? And someone might not be lucky with lunch, if you understand. Moreover, flushing another person affects the temperature of the water.
You decide to go to the toilet there, and there's a puddle from the shower in the toilet stall. Horror, horror, horror.
3. We lived in room 7. In the evenings, it is impossible to turn on the ceiling lamp, it squeaks until my head hurts. My husband didn't even believe me, because he didn't hear it until I found a review about the same room in August 2023, where the girl also complained in the reviews about the squeak of the lamp in this room! And what are they? A year later, the lamp beeps. I couldn't turn it on. Sconces tried to use them, but the light directed upwards showed only a huge amount of dust (

The room is very narrow, the bed is also narrow, with almost the width of the entire room. Don't stretch out your arms. There is no normal air circulation.
As a result, the hostel's not the freshest look, dirt, and a terrible solution with showers and restrooms did not leave a positive impression.
I don't understand the positive reviews. Urban is my fifth hostel, and so far the worst.

Geographically located conveniently, within walking distance from the Nemiga metro station. The hostel itself occupies a separate building with three floors. All the content inside is thought out. There are a lot of pleasant things and little things.The receptionist is a nice girl. We had a double room on the third floor where there was a female shower unit and a shared bathroom. The kitchenette is on the second floor, there is a microwave, kettle, refrigerator. But there was one disadvantage for us: the Doors. There are hotel-type doors between the rooms, but they don't close well, and so everyone coming from 11-12 at night starts slamming them hard and so on until 3 a.m.😳 So everything is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and soft, but unfortunately it did not work out to sleep.

A warm, good place for a traveler. If you want fun, you will have it in full, just like at a children's camp) If you want peace and quiet, take a room with fewer people, for example, a quadruple room. I lived in a four-bed room for a week. People changed, everyone was different, but a comfortable bed and individual lighting did their job - I slept well. There are a lot of showers, there were no queues. There is a great coffee shop on the ground floor. This place is not recommended only for harmful and irritable people who are infuriated by the rustling of bags and quiet night conversations) I was lucky - I did not meet such people). Everyone understands what a hostel is. Cleanliness, friendliness, responsiveness - thanks to the girls at the reception and thanks to the whole hostel team! I will definitely come back!

Everything is super comfortable and cool, modern and clean hostel. I'll tell you about a couple of things that can be uncomfortable: there is no curtain on the beds and the door closes with a loud click, this can interfere if you have a light sleep. It didn't bother me, I slept all night without waking up, in the morning nothing was numb or hurt. Oh, yes, they give you a towel on bail, but it's not critical. Super convenient location relative to city attractions, departure points for group excursions (I had a departure from the hotels "Belarus" and "Jubilee") and just to take a walk in the evening by the river. I stayed in a 4-bed women's room. There is a sink in the room! The kitchen is very small, there is a refrigerator, a kettle and a microwave (there is nothing to cook on, you can only warm up the finished food), places at the bar are only for two. There are enough bathrooms, there is also a lot of space for hanging out in the living room and on some floor there are tables with sockets suitable for working on laptops. There is a cafe on the ground floor, but I was unable to visit it due to inventory.

I liked this hostel, I say "Ideological" about these, everything here is conducive to communicating with the guests of the hostel, even despite the language barrier. The guest list is very interesting, there are many foreigners, guests from Russia and traveling Belarusians. Various events take place every evening: concerts, a meeting of the speakers club, lectures, discussions, etc. In general, the atmosphere is very pleasant and friendly. There is a very small kitchen with a small set of dishes, but it is there and it's cool!) There is a lovely courtyard where you can have lunch and socialize. Always tea, sugar, and water. The bed linen is clean and fresh. The mattresses are soft. The rooms have air conditioning, and the building itself is historic. The location of the hostel is excellent! Now about the cons: They are small, but they are there. In the showers (of which there are enough) I wish there was liquid soap or gel. The vihostele is constantly being cleaned, but he is already a little tired, but this is generally normal, because there is a constant change of guests. I was vacationing during the season and it was problematic to book accommodation for the entire stay, I booked different rooms for every day, hoping that the situation would be resolved on the spot, but nothing happened, I had to change rooms and beds almost every day. It was uncomfortable, but I want to say that I was always provided with a lower bed upon request!) thank you! A hostel that I would love to return to!

The hostel is beautiful and atmospheric. There is a cafe where you can have breakfast, you can buy slippers, a dental kit, and leave things for storage. BUT: the kitchen is small, you can't turn around. The toilets/showers are dirty and it is unpleasant to go there. And most importantly, no noise insulation. We lived in a hostel with a child of 8 years old, in a double room. It is an ideal place for a vacation: in the very center of the city, all group excursions start near the hostel, near the old town with cobbled streets, museums, a beautiful promenade for hiking and a place with catamaran rentals. The hostel itself is very clean and modern. Cleaning several times a day. There is a small kitchen and a cafe where you can have breakfast. There are events every day, but we did not go to them, as they have an adult format. The hostel provides free earplugs in case of noise, but we never needed them during our week of stay - it was quiet. The child also really liked the outdoor recreation area with hammocks, in the evening after the excursions they enjoyed relaxing there. In general, the hostel is very good, I recommend it

Clean and cozy. Comfortable beds, soft mattresses. There is a small fence, if you take the upper bed, you can organize an enclosed private space) There are two large drawers for things under each bed, but keep in mind that if you want the drawer to close, you either need your own lock or you will need to buy it at the reception desk.
In the common space, events are periodically held in the evenings, free of charge for visitors to the hostel.
The staff is polite and helpful. The location of the hostel is good. Within walking distance from the main walking routes.

Overall, a good price/quality ratio. Cool staff)Comfortable beds, the location is just wow; most places in Minsk can be reached on foot and it won't take more than 15 minutes. There are many cafes and bakeries nearby. For me, a huge disadvantage was the strong audibility of the neighboring rooms and the constant occupancy of the showers.
