The process itself is perfectly organized. Special thanks to the guards and the girls who politely and sympathetically navigate the process.
On the downside, there are always a lot of people at the entrance (not inside).,
and it's important! this is not a queue, it's just a crowd, if you come exactly to your time, approach and tell the guard at the entrance that your time is now, otherwise others who are bolder and later by appointment will pass earlier, and you will be late, which is a minus when submitting.
The waiting room is stuffy, with poor ventilation, keep this in mind if you are going with elderly relatives (there were some who felt sick)
According to the process itself, 1-2 windows take away passports for verification, and issue a number for an interview with consuls in closed windows (like the cash registers of the Russian Post for the delivery of parcels visually).
I was not given a tour visa, and I was given only to young people from well-off families (business owners) and pensioners for the purpose of traveling to a specific conference.
If you are an independent traveler, or you came alone to apply for a visa (with all your old passports, documents, bills, certificates, real estate, a good stable job, mortgages, animals, and others - a whole folder of documents), a balding man has 10% chances in 3 windows and in general in Almaty. The opinion is subjective.
The whole process is polite, not aggressive.
you stay inside for 30-40 minutes at most, everything is very fast

We were very pleasantly impressed by all the embassy staff. A very friendly man greets us at the entrance, wishes everyone success and smiles amiably. At the inspection, everyone is also very pleasant and cultured, everything goes quickly. It was my first time applying and there wasn't much to compare it with, but my husband had previously had visas and told me that in Moscow, the embassy on Zubovsky had a disgusting attitude literally from the very entrance, so mentally I was preparing for a completely different attitude) At the interview, we were asked several questions and informed that our visas had been approved, and we were interviewed by a young man in the 5th window) In general, I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff for their kindness, smiles and good attitude, and to wish good luck to all those who are about to be interviewed!

Everything is organized perfectly!
We were interviewed for a tour visa on 02/3.25 . A family of 5 people. We arrived early, at 7.45. The guards downstairs offered to wait not outside, but inside, so as not to freeze. Everything was explained as politely as possible. Then they invited me upstairs. The guard also escorted me upstairs. The consulate itself is also well organized. There's a queue, but it's moving fast. I didn't have to wait very long. We went by number to the consul 's booth . The consul was very friendly, asked us a few questions, and then approved the visa for everyone. The passports were received the next day. Now we are planning our trip to the USA.
