Cornflowers is a chain cafe specializing in national cuisine. We were in the one located in the Galileo shopping center, next to the railway station. Convenient location for travelers. The waiters are running around like crazy, it's a pity for them, but they can't cope, maybe the staff is too small. Now about the food. I liked the dumplings with cherries, but the Pancakes with mushrooms are not very good, maybe it's just not my dish. I tried the local beer. Of the three dishes ordered, two were not available (which turned out to be 15 minutes after the order). Everyone carries it for a VERY long time. It's simple for hours... Draft beer was not poured at all (cleaning the taps) - well, yes, when else to clean the taps if not in the evening when the guests were fully seated... Even the pancakes that I liked so much last time were not so well cooked this time at all - they were given some kind of tap water... In short, disappointed. I specially went here for the second time, because I really liked it in the spring, but alas... Apparently, as luck would have it here - what with the waiter, what with food /drinks... Sorry.

The pancakes are delicious, but it's better at home. There was no feeling that they were made of fresh potatoes.
The service in this cafe is at a very low level, we came with the children sat down at an empty table and waited long and hard for the menu to be brought. After I called the waiter in front of whom we sat down at the table after 10 minutes of waiting, he gave us the menu.
After another 10 minutes, we managed to complete the order. While waiting for the order, my children managed to look out all the windows (they really liked the view from the window), I was able to connect to the local Wi-Fi and even try to watch the news of my native country. We managed to count the number of people who were also sitting and waiting for the order, we managed to go to a not very good toilet. Well, finally, 40 minutes later, they brought me a hodgepodge. My children sat with hungry eyes and watched me eat it while waiting for pancakes. After another 20 minutes, the Pancakes were brought, the appetite was such that we ate them in just 3 minutes. And then again, waiting for the bill, the change is about 10 minutes.
Therefore, this is not a restaurant but a cafe that conscience does not allow to put more than one star. I do not recommend this place

Service: I would like to see more efficient waiters. We Ordered A Salad. When the order was already brought to everyone, it turned out that there was no salad. We could have ordered something else. If this is your first time in Minsk and you don't know where to eat, then Cornflowers are a great solution!
We were there with them and were satisfied. The taste of the dishes is homemade, especially from chicken, it feels like homemade meat, and not what you used to buy.
The average check for two people there is about 1200 Russian rubles (from memory they gave about 72 Belarusian rubles).
As for the menu, the choice is not small, there is even a separate children's menu, which I think is an excellent solution for families with young children.
Personally, I recommend trying potato pies with beef cheeks and lemonades there (they are all delicious and not particularly chemical).

I give three stars only for the fact that one dish was cooked well, and for the service of the administrator. The second was half cooked, the string beans were not fully cooked, the tomatoes were cut just terribly, just a huge tomato was cut in half, the white core that occupies half of the tomato was not even removed. The vodka glasses are dirty, smudges just from all sides, as if they hadn't washed it.
The beer glass is cracked in half. They noticed when they were drinking, but there could be fragments in the glass. But to say thank you to the administrator of this institution, she apologized and offered free drinks.
