EnCata engineering company presented Minsk with a moving sculpture made of metal "Cornflower" in 2018. The gift was timed to City Day.
This is a five-meter "flower" made of metal, the "petals" of which are effectively fluttering in the wind.
The sculpture consists of 16 aluminum blocks, each of which has three lobes attached to it. As soon as one of them starts moving (this happens even with light gusts of wind), the structure sets all other elements in motion.
