Very cool. Of course it's frosty here in December
The two of us on December 6th at 14:00
It was windy on the wall. In short, at + 4 degrees in Beijing, it is better to dress warmly. And don't forget about the hat
The price is 200 yuan per person (this is a bus to the funicular and back, a funicular there and back and an entrance to the wall)
We got there by taxi for 200 yuan via the di-di app. Thanks a lot to the driver, he turned out to be a very good person. He explained everything and told me. It was the second taxi driver, more on that below.
The journey took about 1.5 hours.
Back by bus. First, take the h23 - 2 yuan to the Mutianyu Huandao stop (慕田)), and then transfer to 916快 - 12 yuan.
We reached the city of Beijing in 2 hours
Before arriving at the wall, we were caught several times by drivers who tried to persuade us to take an excursion to the wall from them. We order a di-di, the driver arrives and just writes that he will not go there. Only if you hire him separately. Then why did he take us at all when he saw that we were going far away, I do not understand. The cost was 700 yuan (Round trip). We refused.
We got out of the car, did not have time to order another taxi, at the same minute the second driver drove up, started calling us and already offered the same trip for 500 yuan (round trip). How did he know that we were going to the wall, the story is silent. Most likely, they pass information about tourists to each other. But this is not accurate.
As a result, we ordered a taxi again through the di-di app and everything was OK. The driver silently drove us to the wall for the amount indicated in the application. Then he explained to us that many taxi drivers deceive tourists in this way, since not everyone has maps and applications. And in general, the understanding that it is cheaper to get there
So, good luck to everyone! Be careful and don't get fooled by the prices of local drivers

Visiting the Great Wall of China was one of the most significant events of my trip to China. This majestic building not only impresses with its history and scale, but also gives an unforgettable experience.
From the first glance at the Great Wall, I was struck by its grandeur. This ancient structure, stretching for thousands of kilometers through mountains and valleys, evokes a sense of reverence for history and the labor invested in its construction. Standing at the top of one of the towers, I could see the wall winding along the mountain ranges, disappearing into the distant horizon.
I chose to visit a section of the wall in the Badalin area, which is well preserved and equipped for tourists. Climbing the wall was quite steep and time-consuming, but each step was worth the effort. Walking along the wall, I couldn't help but admire the views of the surrounding landscapes and the sheer scale of this structure.
The Great Wall of China carries a deep historical significance. It is not just a defensive structure, but a symbol of Chinese culture and engineering genius. After learning more about its construction, I was impressed by how difficult the technology and working conditions were at that time. Each section of the wall tells its own story, and I felt like I had touched the ancient past of China.
The atmosphere on the wall was exciting. Despite the large number of tourists, I felt the grandeur and tranquility of this place. The silence of the mountains and the wind penetrating through the stones added a sense of solitude and connection with nature.
The organization of the visit was at a high level. Signs, information signs and audio guides helped to better understand the history and significance of the wall. The infrastructure was well developed, with convenient trails and places to relax.
The Great Wall of China is more than just a historical monument. This is a place that allows you to feel a connection with ancient times and appreciate the scale of human efforts. My visit to the Great Wall of China was an unforgettable experience that I recommend to anyone interested in Chinese history and culture. This is one of those places that you definitely need to see with your own eyes in order to truly appreciate their greatness.

The Great Wall of China is definitely a place in China that is worth a visit. We were at the Simatai site. They lift it on a funicular and then a small area for hiking.
For more sporty ones, there is a route for a large climb on foot. This is the goal for the next visit. The view that opens from the wall amazes everyone, including those who watch your statuses!
Simatai (variants of Russian transcription: Simatai, Samatai) is one of the most striking and fascinating sections of the Great Wall of China in Beijing, accessible to tourists and travelers. It belongs to the Miyun district, which is located one hundred and twenty kilometers northeast of the central part of the city. Simatai is interesting, first of all, because it has almost completely preserved its original appearance. It was not affected by the reconstruction at all, so Simatai is ideal for those who want to get as close as possible to the history and culture of the Celestial Empire.
