Room 617 was fine for me, the lovely young girl on reception at night was very helpful (my Russian is average at best) but she did it all with a smile, and nothing was a problem. Thank you! Yes things are older, but it was a 2 night stay not a lifetime. I personally enjoy seeing older buildings, but I know it is not for everyone’s taste. Thank you! Ryan from Australia 🇦🇺

The Vetraz Hotel is located on the banks of the Western Dvina River, a quiet place without city noise. Parking is free in front of the entrance, and paid for by the hotel. There is a restaurant, a buffet, I took advantage of breakfast (from 07:00) for 12 bel. rub(~300₽). Quick check-in, friendly staff, clean linen, wide bed, comfortable mattress. There was no hot water at the time of check-in, they gave a 20% discount, and in the evening they gave me hot water, I was lucky The rooms have names, I lived in 305,"Raindrops". It's a long way from the city's attractions, but public transport works well and it's convenient to get there.

A very modest, but generally pleasant and clean hotel, with a certain nostalgic "Soviet touch", especially the elevators. The rooms are clean, each with a special interior and an individual name. The bed linen and towels are perfectly white. The front door lock is mechanical, the key is with a huge heavy keychain so that you don't take it with you. The smell of tobacco smoke is periodically drawn into the room through the ventilation due to negligent smoker residents. The extractor hood in the bathroom saves. But the administration is diligently fighting them. Sometimes Wi-Fi does not pull the mass connection and freezes. The staff is friendly. The price is adequate. The food is mainly from the national cuisine, delicious, satisfying - not a buffet. It can be recommended.
