The sculpture is located at the entrance to the Minsk City Hall, within walking distance from the Nemiga and Oktyabrskaya metro stations. A map of 16th century Minsk is depicted at the feet of the head of the magistrate. The composition is dedicated to the receipt of the Minsk Magdeburg Law (the right of self-government) in 1499. The royal charter allowed Minsk residents to build a town hall in the city, where the authorities were located.

If only they would put a monument to some famous person on a pedestal here and the square would lose its intimacy and the monument would attract attention to itself . I give a low assessment to this work not for the artistic part, but for the nationalist pro-Polish narratives. Polish nobles were appointed/"elected" as voits - this was done by the king. Belarusians were not among them.
There are also no sculptures of city officials in Minsk and other cities, so what should Poles do in them? Do you mean that these are Polish lands?
