I was at St. Vladimir's Cathedral in 1985. I still remember this beauty. I put a candle on the groom (I broke up with the young man then). Imagine in 1986, I got married. Mysticism! Kiev is a very beautiful city. It's a pity, I probably won't have to visit it anymore.

The cathedral is beautiful, the place is sacred, it is a pity that it belongs to the schismatics

Beautiful architecture, good people work, prices for candles are lower than in other temples located nearby.

This is a unique pearl of Russian religious painting! Every Orthodox Christian needs to see this, and even non-Orthodox Christians need to see it at least once in their lives. The living cradle of Russian Orthodoxy is on the walls! The relics of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara, St. Macarius of Kiev...And what a unique icon of Varvara, painted by Vasnetsov! A holy place!

Everything would be fine if it weren't for the split.

The temple is beautiful, with an interesting history, but alas, in the hands of schismatics (pseudo-church of the PCU).
