I am not the kind of person who writes reviews and I am not an “eternally dissatisfied customer”, however, there are times in life when we simply have to react and describe the work of the company. And today is exactly the case when I lost my patience several times and the company simply forced me to share my opinion about its working methods and attitude towards an old client. We started working with Webmart on the recommendation of Yandex in 2012. They were described as a young and dynamic team that will be able to conduct our campaigns efficiently. And I must say right away that in the first years we were very pleased with their work. In the period from 2012 to 2017, we paid more than 500 thousand US dollars for advertising services through the Webmart company. This is a serious amount for our market and it is not difficult to calculate their income, as it varies from 10 to 15% of the amount. We met several times with the founders of this company to discuss a new ambitious project, but it was not launched for our subjective reasons. The project itself did not fire and today it has pulled and de-energized the old company so that it was decided to close it. We've been shutting down the company for a year. We entered the liquidation process, the accounts were blocked. There were several small debts included in the list of creditors who were going to be settled after passing all checks, as required by law. At that moment, a lawyer from the Webmart company called with a question about the debt, and my colleague tried to explain to him how everything would happen, that we would refund 300 rubles after all the necessary procedures. After talking with this specialist, I spent another half day walking away. A few days later, this lawyer got hold of my personal phone. The conversation began with demands and almost threats. I tried to explain that this is not the correct way to communicate with us and his work looks like a collection. I explained that I had worked with their company for many years, I personally know the leaders and I am not going to lose my business reputation for 300 rubles. He said that after unblocking the account, we will definitely pay. Even then, I was outraged by the approach of Webmart and the disdainful attitude towards my client, who brought a stable income for many years in a row. But then this “collector”, and by the nature of his communication and his act as a lawyer, it is difficult to call him, did not calm down and continued to call and waste my nerves and time. After that, he sent another calculation of interest for late payment and demanded to include it in the main debt. The day came when all the checks were completed and the list of creditors was paid, which also had a Webmart. The next day, the “collector” called and what do you think? Did you say thank you? No! He had the audacity to demand payment of interest (30 rubles) as well. In this story, the business approach and the culture in business in general are clearly visible to me. When the company is at its best, they are ready to give you gifts and to court you in every possible way. But as soon as a company or a person loses their position for a while, all the dogs are thrown at you. We switched to working with Webmart due to insufficient attention from Artox and Webcom, as they had already become large companies and did not provide the necessary quality. Webmart was able to outdo everyone. Therefore, think 100 times about whether to continue working further or start working with such a company.
