Maybe we came in by accident . there was nothing particularly interesting , except for the exhibition of coins from the time of Alexander the Great . The museum keepers were watching us very closely.

Beautiful, modern, interesting, FREE!) Unfortunately, they won't let you in with water, but it seems that this is the only disadvantage of this location. The MON hall from ancient to modern deserves special attention.

A place that you must definitely visit while walking along the main pedestrian street of Taksim. There is a bookstore on the ground floor, where most of the books are from the publishing house of the same name (Yapı Kredi). Books, of course, in Turkish, can also be found in English. The prices are normal, and there are always different discounts.
On the upper floors there is the Taşkent Museum and another floor above there is an exhibition space with changing exhibitions.
On the top floor there is a conference room where various meetings and sometimes concerts take place.
Admission to the museum is free.
Exhibitions are usually very good both in terms of theme and content.
Now (August 2023) there is an exhibition dedicated to the first year of the establishment of the Turkish Republic "Cumhuriyet'in Ilk Yılı: 29 Ekim 1923 - 29 Ekim 1924". Judging by the photos, documents, pictures, and cartoons, it was a difficult, but fun and optimistic year.
The exhibition occupies only one upper floor and will last until September 3.
