The monument is small, located near the central square in a quiet square. An iconic figure for Belarus, her relics are located in the monastery of the same name in Polotsk.

According to the idea of sculptor Igor Golubev [the idea of the project belongs to Yuri Ivanovsky], the venerable (the first Woman in Belarus recognized as a saint) Euphrosyne of Polotsk (heavenly patroness of Belarus and the city of Polotsk, granddaughter of Vseslav Bryachislavich and daughter of Vladimir Monomakh, in paganism Predslava) is on the way from her birthplace to her destination (from the Great posad to the Spassky Monastery).
There is a strong opinion that "The Cross of Euphrosyne of Polotsk is one of the ten most valuable missing art objects.
According to legend, the acquisition of the Cross of Euphrosyne of Polotsk will mark the true rebirth of Belarus."
Let's wait...
and if a Woman is elected president, then this is not an option for the revival of Belarus?!
