Now you can see one of the remains of the former manor of the Counts Tyshkevich-the manufactory building. It was built in 1837 at the expense of the then owner of the city, Konstantin Pievich Tyshkevich. At that time, the "golden era" of the Logoi region continued, when it began to turn from a barely noticeable place into a beautiful estate in the likeness of the "Radziwill Nesvizh". The manufactory operated until about 1856. During this time, 80 men and 5 women worked in it all the time. Fabrics were made both coarse and fine. Funds for the production of products were purchased in the Minsk province, as well as in Manchester (British Empire). During the interwar period, a Jewish school operated in the building. When the Great Patriotic War began, the Nazis organized the Gestapo in it. After the liberation of the Logoisk region from the Nazi occupation on August 15, 1944, a Belarusian school was opened in the building, which in modern times has the name "Gymnasium of Logoisk". After the school moved to a new location, the building of the former estate was transformed into a residential building. Now there are about 6 apartments in it. In 2007, the building received the status of historical and cultural value of regional significance of the Republic of Belarus (category 3). Study the history of your native land!
