One nuance of this station: there is no good cafe where you can have a snack upon early arrival, the choice is small and there are only rolls that look inedible and artificial. There were also homeless people or just alcoholics standing in this station cafe and drinking their drinks without hesitation! It pushed away from the purchase and the desire to be in this cafe.

The station is spacious and large. There is a relaxation area on the second floor where you can also charge your phone (if you don't have a power supply, there are also USB cable outlets). And for active travelers, you can rent a powerbank on the ground floor (near the ticket offices). The Varka coffee shop is also located there. There is no human cafe or snack bar at the train station, there are two small bistros, but somehow at your own risk. The police are meticulous, they checked the documents, the telegram and the gallery as soon as I took this photo. On the one hand, it's OK, but on the other, it doesn't feel safe. For the first time in more than 30 years, my documents were checked in Belarus. 🤔 Transport links from the train station to the city are good, but not clear. Fortunately, the main attractions are within walking distance.

Mixed impressions of the train station. Outside, there is a nice building (not historical, now defunct, mid-19th century, but still with its own certain charm of Soviet neoclassicism). Even the sculptures are interesting on the platform, designed to create a mood for tourists coming here, everything seems to be in order inside. However, the first impression turned out to be somewhat blurred upon departure. The ticket office at the window seems to indicate that tickets for all types of trains are on sale, including regional economy class lines, but it turned out that tickets for diesel trains can only be purchased at the suburban train station, which is in a separate building. Of course, I may have confused this moment myself and did not take it into account, but when I have already stood in line and there are about 10-15 minutes left before the departure of the desired flight, it is unpleasant to find out that you need to go to the next building and stand in line there too.
