, Some background information: The Tash-Khawli Palace was built as the khan's new residence. The former Kunya Ark palace seemed too cramped and old to Allakuli Khan. Tash-Khawli was supposed to become a symbol of his power, wealth and a new stage in the life of the city. The complex performed several functions: 1. The main residence of the Khan and his family. 2. Venue of official receptions and courts. 3. Harem - private living quarters for the Khan, his wives, children and concubines. 4. Administrative building - office and reception rooms were located here.

For the rulers of the eastern states, it has long been customary to build magnificent palaces in order to show the strength of the state in order to live, patronize, welcome guests. Palaces were considered the place where the Khan and his loved ones lived, where public services were performed. Therefore, it has come down to us without a holistic architecture. Khiva has not one, but several Khan palaces Khamon. One of these is the famous stone courtyard Palace of Ollogulikhan. The best achievements of folk Masters in the field of architectural ornament and monumental applied art are embodied in the decoration of the walls of the harem. The plant-like gireh pattern of large glazed pannos on the walls of the porch, the decorations on them are not very similar to each other. The wood carving on the columns and doors, on the other hand, is particularly elegantly executed. In relation to the fertile courtyard, the excavations, dolon and nursery are much more inconspicuous. The open hearth lips darken the walls and ceilings of the excavation. The dolon, which connects the women's porch with the Khan's dwelling, is only slightly illuminated by the holes at the top. A number of semi-dark dolon-rooms had to be traversed in order to get to the attic or the attic. The next Built place of the palace is the hotel building. Its layout is similar to that of a quarry in a stone courtyard and a lookout in a coven Arch. The haram section of the stone courtyard Palace housed the History Museum from 1945-1983. After the renovation work started in 1976, the Museum of Khwarazm khunarmandism was opened in the harem courtyard as an exposition. This exposition is still in operation today. The stone courtyard Palace has been renovated several times as a result of the years. Parts of the hotel and armory of the stone courtyard Palace were renovated and opened in 2001 for the purpose of demonstrating to travelers. In these courtyards are located interiors “Devonbegi”, “Mirzo” and “Fire”.
