The collection is large and beautiful, the museum is new, very beautiful inside and out. During our trip, there was a temporary exhibition of Impressionists from the Musee d'Orsay, including van Gogh, we were so lucky, it was wonderful. The location is good, there is a direct bus that goes through the whole city, but if you live in the center, there are only a couple of stops. The architecture is wonderful, it's set up on the water, so the photos will turn out great. The Guggenheim Museum is being built nearby, but it won't open until 2026, so when I get there, I'll definitely visit the Louvre again.

Ohhhh! I liked it! Very!!! There are only 12 halls.., from ancient civilizations to modern art! As far as I remember, the works (exposition) were leased from the original Louvre for 25 years, as well as the name)) Yes, let's have one painting by each of the outstanding Masters, but you don't get tired, you absorb every masterpiece, you pass it through yourself! You come out so full 🫶🫶🫶🙏😍 Kandinsky, Chagall, Manet, Monet, Gauguin, Matisse .., you can just spend an hour at each painting, BUT the main thing is of course Leonardo da Vinci "John the Baptist" ❤️ I can only compare with the Lady with the Ermine in Krakow and the Birth of Venus in the Uffizi 🙏 I would even advise not to read anything, see, get into it, remember your emotions and only then read the plot, the creation process and the meaning .., I recommend 💯

A very beautiful place, stunning architecture by Jean Nouvel. It's especially great to arrive at sunset. It is better to set aside at least an hour for a visit.
There is a cushion area inside where you can sit, order a drink and enjoy the sunset.
Exhibitions are held periodically. The latest exhibition with works from the Orsay Museum is wonderful.
All in all, the place is a delight! I highly recommend it.

Abu Dhabi Art Museum. It is located on the island of one of the bays of the city.
It was built relatively recently. According to the guide, for the right to bear the same name in the Louvre from Paris (plus an exhibition of individual works) The UAE has paid about 1 billion euros. The architecture of the building and its location right in the middle of the sea are quite original. There are plenty of free parking spaces nearby.
The exhibition is a rather disparate set of works. The number of works is not large, but there are some works by famous masters: Da Vinci, Van Gogh, Manet, Monet, Picasso, Kandinsky. In terms of content and quantity, this is certainly not the Pushkin or Tretyakov Gallery. The museum lacks the "dedication" of famous grandees. But the entire exposition can be viewed in one visit: 1-2 hours.

A very interesting place, I advise you to visit. The building seems to be immersed in water and inside in many places you can enjoy the coolness of the water. The exposition is not heavily loaded, but the space is well organized. There are many sofas and places to relax with a beautiful view of the bay. There is an online audio guide in Russian. At the end of the exhibition, there are additional exhibitions in the courtyard, do not forget to enter them, especially Mars for children. A very pleasant two-storey veranda with a cafe, a bar with music on top, an express dining room downstairs. Several more museums are being built nearby. I hope to get into them.

It is beautiful, interesting, there are audio tours, there are not many exhibits, but there are originals. Clean, air conditioning, toilets and friendly staff everywhere. 4 stars for a jamb with signs- if you go by yourself, it's not very clear where to go and we regularly turned in the wrong direction and asked for directions. It is worth going at least because of the architecture of the dome- it is interesting

A unique collection of world art masterpieces. The exhibits are selected by period in chronological order, with a juxtaposition and comparison of different cultures and approaches to art. The collection is small compared to the Hermitage, but it's worth spending a whole day or two there. I recommend downloading a free application that has an audio guide in Russian to the most interesting exhibits. There is a restaurant and a cafe on the territory of the museum (the only place where you can smoke). In addition to the main exhibition, very interesting exhibitions are regularly held. Until 02/9/2025 - an amazing exhibition of impressionists and post-impressionists, with works by Cezanne, Gauguin, etc.

I love modern museum complexes, especially in rich Arab countries! Lots of space. The claim to be original and at the same time a small number of exhibits (relative to museums with a long history). Many exhibits are rented. In general, I advise you to visit!

High-minded people, free access to objects, and the absence of annoying museum staff. Cons: a very strange set of works. Lack of representation by subject, time, or other principle. A persistent feeling that they were assembled according to the principle-dishes to dishes, paintings to paintings. But the museum is very young, it has potential. I recommend you to visit.

A good, interesting, modern museum! I also visited the real Louvre in Paris, I liked the Louvre more in Abu Dhabi. In addition to paintings, sculptures and other beauty, you can admire the roof of this museum and relax on the steps near the water of the bay, I was lucky enough to see a large yacht sailing right next to the museum, almost a ship. The museum is completely surrounded by water, built on an artificial island. I definitely recommend you to visit.

A cool museum with a good collection of exhibits. There are exhibits from different eras from antiquity to modern art, as well as from different cultures (from ancient Greek columns to Asian Buddhas), it is interesting to see for yourself and for children to show. It's a decent gift shop.
Entrance fee = 65 dirhams.
You can pay by card or cash.

For lovers and those who understand art, this is an amazing place.
Of course, we are not art lovers, but we visited this institution out of curiosity.
The road was from the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, by taxi (50 dirhams), and we also took a taxi back. There are buses, but we couldn't catch them.
Entrance to the Louvre costs $18 or 65 dirhams
In terms of time, 2/3 hours is enough to go around everything. You can buy various souvenirs (the prices are certainly not cheap). The most interesting thing is that it is on the water. Very beautiful design, interesting style. It's probably even more beautiful there in the afternoon, we got in after lunch, went out, it's already dark.

The building itself is modern, of an unusual shape, but inside it is spacious, somehow cozy and, despite the large number of visitors, spacious, convenient to look at. I was pleased that the exposition is constantly changing, with entire collections. And the collections themselves are very competently compiled - from prehistoric times to the Impressionists, several exhibits from different regions. During our visit, there were just those masterpieces that I love))): Fayum portraits, Hokusai "Big Wave", several medieval paintings, the Order of the Golden Fleece, samurai armor, Egyptian statues. I recommend it!

The Louvre in Abu Dhabi is amazing, as is everything in general in the Emirates. The unique roof of the building immediately sets you up for the beautiful and sublime.
We visited only the part devoted to ancient culture, and it was impressive. We just managed to see a painting by Leonardo Da Vinci, John the Baptist, which will soon return home.
In addition, any exhibit is admired for its antiquity, grace, beauty, age of creation, etc.
Unfortunately, this time we were not able to see all the expositions. I hope to visit it again someday.
I advise everyone to visit the Louvre in Abu Dhabi and see with their own eyes all the beauty that is collected there.

I was here in September 2024 on a guided tour. This is the "youngest" Louvre museum complex in Abu Dhabi, in the UAE (opened in 2017). The building itself is very interesting, it looks like a huge turtle with an openwork dome roof. The idea of the exhibition is the development of art and humanity from ancient civilizations to modern art. Here you can see real masterpieces of different eras and civilizations from Persia, ancient Egypt, Greece, the Roman Empire, etc. Unique paintings by great masters - Leonardo Da Vinci, Rembrandt, Giovanni Bellini, Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir, Cezanne, Picasso, Magritte, Chagall, etc.. I highly recommend this museum to art lovers and connoisseurs!! The unique works of art presented and the building itself will not leave you indifferent 😍

If you have been to the Pushkin Museum in Moscow, you will understand the approach to the exhibition. The development of art from antiquity to Kandinsky is presented in large brushstrokes - sculptures of Egypt and Ancient Greece, paintings, tapestries, Middle Ages altar elements, and so on.
During our visit, there was an exhibition of post-impressionists from the Musee d'Orsay - we were lucky.
The museum itself is beautiful, on the water, you can relax and drink coffee.
If you have time and interest in art, you can visit, but nothing grandiose.…
