We recently came to Izmir from Istanbul for a business trip. After intense meetings, we wanted to have something to eat and drink on our feet as two managers. We stopped by the restaurants along the beach; however, although the tables were empty, we did not want to be entertained at any of them. I think they thought we couldn't spend money. Unfortunately, this attitude also included Veli Usta's place located on the coastal part. When we gave up hope from the beach and went to our hotel, we found an empty table at Veli Usta's place located on the inside street. It was at this point that the approach we encountered turned the whole experience upside down. Mr. Kamuran, who took care of us, turned into the most positive detail of the whole evening and even of the day. With his smiling face, sincerity and attentive approach, he not only arranged a table; he made us feel like really valued guests. We would like to especially thank Mr. Kamuran, who adds a special quality to the place with his professionalism and kindness. At the end of the day, this small but meaningful moment we experienced reminded us once again that it is not the view or the popularity that makes a place special; it is the attention and human approach shown to the guest. We have once again seen that such employees constitute the main strength of a business. When my way there, I will go there again for the sake of Mr. Kamuran.
