The air conditioner is not regulated, it is not possible to set the temperature, the bed is old and the linen is yellow. Wi-Fi is practically not working , except in the early morning. If you come to breakfast at 9 a.m., consider that you will not have breakfast, since there is nothing left.

In general, everything is great, especially for the money that we gave, but the night shift was "pleased" with its "friendliness". The cleaner, bringing a blanket without a duvet cover, said: "What, do you also need a duvet cover? I thought you had one."
And the restaurant employee, when we ordered food, said: "Will you wait 1.5 hours? I'm filling out reports." 🤦♀️ As a result, we agreed with him that the food would be delivered in half an hour, but it was brought anyway in 1.5 hours.
But the morning shift is good, the people are friendly, the breakfasts are not bad.
It can be seen that the hotel is old, but sound. The furniture is old, but of good quality. The hotel is being looked after. We had a spacious room, and even a smart TV - we were able to log in to YouTube and evie. The location is good. I don't know if it's the center or not, but there are banks, some kind of square, Schlumberger, supermarkets nearby. We stayed for 1 night. If we have to be passing through again, we'll stop again

Although the hotel itself positions itself as a 4-star hotel, I would hardly put 3 stars with a stretch. When you come in, time stopped here in 2000. Bright red tasteless carpet was fashionable at that time. Rooms with an ordinary key open, the doors are rolled, the furniture is all outdated, the bathroom is finished from the 1990s. Gym, one name, 3 unfortunate projectiles. Upon check-in, the staff does not tell you what leisure facilities are available at the hotel. The service is at zero. And the restaurant (if you can call it that) is just creepy. The cook cooks worse even in the worst dining room. I ordered a veal tenderloin with vegetables. I ask the waiter how the dish is prepared? He didn't boom boom, he asked to find out in the kitchen. As a result, they brought a dish where the meat is stale, only pepper is from vegetables, and the food smelled of fish, which was cooked in oil on which the fish had just been fried. Beer is bottled only and it is poured into a large mug like in pubs. Well, listen, you position yourself as a RESTAURANT, but where is the hospitality? Personally, I'm not naked here anymore, but you decide for yourself.

I travel a lot on business trips, including in Atyrau. How people rate this hotel at 4-5 stars is unclear, the hotel is tired, repairs have not been done since the Soviet era, I can not rate breakfast above 2 stars, if only completely hungry, then maybe it will go with a bang.
The staff is polite, that's a plus.
Otherwise, the hotel is so-so, if desired, next time I would not book a room in it.

The hotel is good, I was quarantined here twice before work. The first time they put me in a small room, it was December 2020 and then I didn't really like it there because there were problems with the kettle and food. For the second time, they were already accommodated in a larger room on the third floor. The kettle is better set and the food is better and the space is much more. Everything is super, but the toilet is really high (someone has already written too) my legs are numb and there are no curtains from the bathroom. As a result, I advise you, since the service in the center is not bad, but do not take a small room, it is really small, and as an option you can consider ABC, but this is a completely different story)
