Inside, Khan Shatyr is a combination of shopping mall, entertainment center, and leisure space. You’ll find a wide range of shops, from international brands to local boutiques, along with plenty of cafés and restaurants for every taste. It’s very convenient for families, thanks to the children’s play zones and various attractions. One of the unique features is the indoor “beach” on the top floor, which feels surreal in the middle of Kazakhstan’s climate. Even if you don’t swim, it’s interesting to see. The only downside is that it can get crowded, especially on weekends and holidays. Parking is sometimes challenging, and some people may find that the dining options are slightly more expensive than average. Overall, Khan Shatyr is a must-visit spot for anyone coming to Astana — not just for shopping, but to experience one of the city’s most recognizable and innovative buildings.
