It's a great hotel for visiting the US consulate - it's close, convenient, and the hotel conditions are very good. All the sights of Astana are relatively not far away (10-15 minutes by taxi). There are decent cafes and restaurants within walking distance, that is, there are no problems with food. The room (we had) is not big, one might even say small, but it is quite suitable to stay for 3-4 days.

Everything is fine: cleanliness in the rooms and snow-white linen. The rooms have refrigerators, kettles, TVs, safes. In beautiful showers, the water is cold and hot with a powerful pressure. The rooms are warm. I really liked the attentive maid girls. Zaure, this wonderful girl, saw us off and wished us a safe journey. In general, we really liked the people in Astana. I want us to be friends forever! October, 2024.

A good enough hotel. I think it's normal for my stars. Among the advantages are a large bathroom, good breakfasts and inexpensive coffee, a cooler on the floor, a safe, Wi-Fi.
Of the cons, it's a little dark in the room, there is no tea, kettle and coffee (but probably this is standard for all three stars).
The staff at both the cafe and the reception is friendly.

That's where the advantages ended. We lived in a suite. The room itself is awkward, oval. We got into the cold and the air conditioner did not work.
For some reason, the staff decided that 1 person lives in the room and until they were reminded a couple of times, it was like that in an all-for-one room. The shower gels ran out, they also said about it, returned to the room, did not change anything / did not top up. I had to talk again. After one of the "clean-up", They left a Pillowcase in the room. In fact, the garbage was taken out of the bins, the bed was made and towels were changed. The table was not wiped, and the floor was not cleaned either. After one of the clean-ups, a battered tea bag appeared. The chairs are in a sad state. There are a lot of dead insects between the windows. Who even came up with windows that don't open, but bugs can get in there.. In general, the room does not look like a suite in any way. Yes, and we need to work with the staff

My wife and I stayed at the Ibis Astana Hotel from September 11 to 16, 2024. We liked the cleanliness and cleaning of the room, but our room was cool. The breakfasts were good, but monotonous. The rooms already need to update the showers and I would like to add an additional chair, there is also a lack of a refrigerator and a kettle. As for the TV, there are not enough normal channels, i.e. music, international information and film channels.

As for the rooms, there is a nuance. Specifically, my room is 1310, with a beautiful view from the window. The nuance is that the window is deaf. That is, it does not open. At all. The heating system is running on heating (it was at the end of November). Accordingly, there is nothing to breathe at all, it is very stuffy. At night, the room warms up to 30 degrees with the climate control turned off. It gets even hotter when turned on. The girl at the reception, when I contacted her, promised to send a locksmith with a handle for the window). I don't know where he would have screwed it if the window was initially blind. In general, when checking in, pay attention whether the window opens or not.

A good hotel, new, clean, friendly staff, speak Russian. It is located within walking distance from the Hazaret Sultan Mosque (I strongly recommend to see it, it is amazing), the President Park, the Palace of Peace and Accord, the National Museum. The hotel accepts MIR cards, add 10% for conversion. In other places, it is better to have tenge. There are a couple of exchangers nearby. Who goes to the US Embassy, convenient location, walking in a straight line for 10 minutes. The hotel has a 24-hour bar where you can have a snack. The restaurant has a good buffet in the morning, not rich, but, in principle, the whole set is there. But! For lunch and especially for dinner, if you eat well and sit down, do not count on it. It's a real disaster. The kitchen is three-star and the main thing is a very poor menu. Yes, it's still okay! According to the menu, the waiter warns right away, this, this and this are not there, there is only this. And tea and sugar in bags, like in a railway carriage. For a restaurant, it generally sucks! It's even amazing, what's so difficult about it? Brew it in a kettle, put sugar on the table, no one steals it now.
Yandex taxi and Uber work without problems, prices, even taking into account conversion, are about the same as in Russia.

Overall, everything was good. But this is definitely not the best Ibis I've been to. The room stock is standard, but a little worn out by life. There is just a wild rush at breakfast and, therefore, you need to guess in order to wait for the food you need. They don't update it very quickly. The reception is just wonderful. They responded quickly to requests, helped, and so on.

Convenient location.
There is a beautiful mosque nearby, and the American Consulate is a 10-minute walk away.
The hotel has an excellent restaurant and bar, everything is fresh and delicious.

Ibis is a good network, I often stay in them around the world. Astana is no exception.
Not a bad room, a panoramic window, which made it cool in the room. It's -28 outside, I turned on the air conditioner for heating, it got warmer.
I didn't take breakfast.
It is uncritical, but unpleasant that I was not notified at check-in about the amount of the surcharge for early check-in.
I arrived at 8.00 a.m. and asked to check in if there was a room available. I settled in without any problems, I happily went to bed after a night flight, and with Atra I found a much larger amount of write-off. The cost of a room per day is 5,400 rubles, an additional 3,100rubles were charged, although usually no more than 50% of the cost of a night's stay.
Of course, I slept well, but I took this move as a trick of the receptionist. Unpleasant.

A decent inexpensive hotel. A good location, there is a pizzeria nearby, a grocery store, there is a place to walk. The rooms are arranged according to the principle of minimalism. No frills. At the same time, the linen is clean, the bathroom is clean. There is not enough refrigerator in the room. But this is to talk about excesses.
Breakfast on the principle of "buffet", again not rich, but enough.
I will return to this hotel on occasion.

The hotel is located in a very good location, you can walk to Independence Square and the House of Peace and Harmony. But it's not far to the golden columns either (only go across the river on the bridge, 30-40 minutes). There are various shops and shopping centers nearby.
The hotel has everything for a comfortable stay: shower, Internet, restaurant (not expensive), breakfast for every taste, Friendly girls at the reception. The elevators are big, there is no jostling.
The only negative for me personally is the general air conditioning system (windows do not open). I love the fresh air from the window, even in winter.
But then I was told that there are houses nearby that are heated with coal in winter and there is an incredible smog. Therefore, such a system is certainly good. Well, the safety from falling out of the window is justified.

It's terrible, the repair was done 10 years ago, everything is falling apart. The room was constantly below 20C even with the heating constantly running, instead of bottles of drinking water, they offer a carafe with which you need to go pour water in the cooler in the corridor yourself.
The bathroom is terrible - there is a strange ventilation system that makes the bathroom the coldest place in the room.
There are a lot of sockets, but not near the bed, although there are tables.
The only advantage is a high-quality bed and bed linen, the rest is just terrible - while the price is not cheap - it is not worth the money, it is better to choose other hotels that are nearby

Ibis Astana is another hotel from this chain where I stayed. As it was written in one of my previous reviews, these hotels are a good value for money for me, and if there is an Ibis in a particular city, I always try to stay in it. Ibis in Astana was no exception, and I made the right choice. In terms of quality and conditions, this hotel was in no way inferior to other Ibises - the rooms have comfortable beds, a safe, slippers, a dental kit, and a water cooler on the floor. But the difference of this particular hotel can be called the building itself, which consisted of 15 floors, and from the upper floors the whole city is at a glance. As for the location, on the one hand it will be far to the city center (Nurzhol Boulevard) on foot, but on the other hand, attractions such as the beautiful Hazret Sultan Mosque, the Palace of Independence, the Palace of Peace and Accord, as well as the Presidential Park are located not far from the hotel. The breakfasts at the hotel are standard, without frills, but you will not stay hungry. I was especially impressed by homemade pies, sometimes with onions and eggs, then with potatoes, in general, the taste of childhood, like my grandmother's.
