Lots of greenery and ponds. There are a lot of cyclists, so pedestrians need to be extremely careful while walking. A great place to relax!

an ordinary, well-maintained park, which is full of them in any major city. It is admired only by the townspeople, who rarely get out of concrete boxes. You can take a walk or lie around here, just like in any other park. I was here on Halloween, nothing special, except that in October the park is still green, and even late at night cyclists come here, but at 7 a.m. there are few of them here anymore.

I once wanted to live in a houseboat in Amsterdam. I turned to my travel agent, and he sold me a ticket to this longboat moored on the pond in Vondela Park. I stayed there for a week and immersed myself in a serene, contemplative existence. The waves gently rocked my houseboat like a baby's cradle. Every evening I lit a pipe of peace, heavily filled with Amsterdam tobacco, and blew a curtain of smoke across the water. From this sweet datura, storks, pelicans, flamingos and swans flew to me from all corners of the pond, as well as flocks of trout and golden carp. They came into my arms of their own accord and caressed me serenely, like God's lambs. At these moments, strawberry fields bloomed on the lawns in the park, and a rainbow appeared in the sky. Just a little more, and the waters of the pond would have become wine, but alas, I'm still not a magician! 🤷🏼 In general, I advise everyone to come to Vondel Park, check into this boat on the pond, smoke Amsterdam tobacco and feel full of spirit and universal grace!
