I am absolutely thrilled to visit Kalancha in Grodno! 🏛 I recently decided to visit the Kalancha in Grodno, and it turned out to be one of the most exciting and impressive places I have ever seen! As a guy who enjoys history and architecture, I was absolutely thrilled. Architectural splendor The first thing that struck me was the majestic architecture of the Tower. Its neo-Gothic style and exquisite details are simply mesmerizing. I was particularly impressed by the frescoes on the facade and the unique sculpture of a woman with the features of the Mona Lisa, which gives the building a special charm and mystery. Historical significance After learning more about the history of this place, I was struck by its significance. The tower is not just a beautiful building, but a real symbol of a city with a rich history. It was especially interesting to learn about the traditions associated with the appearance of a fireman trumpeter every day at 12 o'clock, which adds even more authenticity and flavor to this place. Observation deck Climbing up the Hill, I was really delighted with the views! The panoramic view of the city is simply breathtaking. From a height, you can see the entire historical center of Grodno, ancient buildings, cozy streets and majestic structures. It was an unforgettable feeling to feel yourself on top of this historical monument. Atmosphere and impressions There is a special atmosphere inside the Tower. The spirit of past eras is felt here, and every corner is saturated with history. The guides tell fascinating stories that bring the past to life and make it more real and intimate. The fire tower is visible as soon as you get more or less close to the castle. To be honest, we only noticed it because of the weather vane representing the firefighter. The fire station itself is operational, as indicated by the car leaving the box. I don't know if there's a museum or a viewing platform, but the tower itself looks beautiful and fits very seamlessly into the overall architectural landscape. Since we had no time-limited plans to visit this location, we limited ourselves to just a couple of photos... and we went on to the Bakst restaurant (there is also a review on it), which is just a couple of steps away from her.

There are several nuances. If you come in and the door is closed, most likely there is a guided tour. Tickets can only be purchased by bank transfer. A tall, beautiful and very elegant tower! There is a museum of firefighting in the building, but we did not get there, we were walking past on a guided tour. There are many images of people of different professions on the pediment (look for familiar faces, the artist did his best)). I had a chance to visit the walls of this museum in August 2025. Perhaps if we had a telephone connection, everything could be different, but we have what we have. At 2:20 p.m., our small group found themselves near this museum, eager to visit it. After trying the closed door, going to the bookstore, checking the schedule on my maps, I managed to find out that the museum was still open. After waiting 40 minutes, I had to leave disappointed, due to the fact that it was not possible to pay for the excursion. If you don't mind my saying so, I'll take the trouble to give you some advice. If you have scheduled guided tours, post this information on the door. It's not difficult, just a schedule sheet: the tour starts at 14.00, 15.00, and so on. Then visitors won't have to break into a closed door and run in circles around the museum. If you have such a complicated payment, post this information on the door! With the details of the bank, and possibly its nearest address (this is generally great). During the time that we were hanging around aimlessly and propping up the walls, we would have had time to complete all the formalities, and happiness would have been for you and us. You would have received the money, and we would have received amazing impressions from your museum, and we would have parted satisfied with each other.
