We stayed at this hotel on ng.
On the plus side: we checked in at 9 a.m. The room was nice, with a great view, the beds were comfortable, the bed was nice, there were a lot of closets in the room, and there was a balcony. The pool is open after sunset, breakfasts from 7 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., dinners from 19:00 to 22.30 p.m. The hotel has a currency exchange at the normal exchange rate. Extra towels and water were provided without problems, as well as an adapter to an outlet.
Among the disadvantages: in winter there is an ice pool (not heated), the sun beds are broken, it is unpleasant to lie down on them. The breakfasts and dinners are disgusting! No cheese, no sausage, everything tasteless, poorly cooked from cheap products. Drinks from small plastic cups. There is nothing to eat except dates.
The location of the hotel on the map seems good (opposite Dubai Marina Mall), but there is no crosswalk nearby. You need to get to the subway and cross this road. It turns out to be a 30-minute walk to this shopping center, and a 40-45-minute walk to the beach! By taxi to the beach is 25-30 dirhams. 10-15 min walk to the metro.

We are vacationing in this hotel, for the second time.
The location of the hotel is excellent, there are many restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, a chic park with playgrounds. There is also an artificial pond nearby, a promenade area with comfortable paths. On the ground floor, next to the parking lot, there is an alcohol store with an extensive selection of drinks. The rooms are tired, the flooring (palace) is battered, the mattresses on the beds are comfortable, the linen is clean, but also worn. The curtains are dirty (stains) somewhere, dusty somewhere. There is a kettle, a refrigerator in the room, two sockets suitable for standard plugs. I would like to point out that the hotel has a real problem with towels! When we checked into the room (3 people), it turned out that we were given only one towel (and this is a 4* hotel....
After several requests to bring us at least two more towels, they brought us another one)))
The next morning, after going down to the reception and asking the administrator to provide us with towels, a miracle happened and they brought us 3 towels, worn, torn somewhere, but clean)))
What was our surprise when we returned from the beach after lunch and found that after cleaning we had only one towel left....
Later they began to put them in the closet..

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. Although the hotel is not new, it is clean, and the room was cleaned every day. The location of the hotel is not very good, it seems to be opposite the shopping center and Dubai Marina, but you can't cross the road, there are no crossings through the central avenue at all, you have to walk 15 minutes to the metro and only there you can cross the road, then 15 minutes back, it's not much fun. The hotel rooms look tired, the carpet is old, the furniture is old, only the bed is good. Room cleaning takes about 5 minutes, fuck off. The sockets there are of a different type, with ambush adapters, somehow our plug was inserted into them. They put ONE towel ! per person, if you want more, you have to beg. And this is in a 4-star hotel! The breakfasts are very meager and monotonous, some of the dishes are heavily peppered. Dinners without a buffet, you have to order dishes from the menu and wait, the dishes taste so-so, only the fish is normal. The most disgusting hotel. It doesn't even have 3 stars. I had to ask for towels and they were not changed afterwards. They don't clean up the trash. After 3 days, the dirty bed linen was simply rearranged. All the furniture is very old. The carpet is stained. But the worst part is the cockroaches in the room. The breakfasts are so-so. The lunches and dinners are decent, especially fish and soups. The teaspoons are disposable, for the first 3 days there were paper cups for coffee, then they took out the glass. The glass on the balcony has not been washed for 5 years and the tulle is blacker than the night. On the plus side: the mattresses are decent, they were checked in earlier by 1.5 hours. In the evening, the restaurant has a very smiling waiter. Bottom line: I don't recommend it.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was satisfied with my choice. The room was large and cozy, albeit a little worn out. But everything necessary for a comfortable stay was available. We checked into the room: there is no cup and glass in the room for the second guest. There is only 1 (one) towel in the room. And it was not possible to resolve the issue with the reception. Those who did not like the hotel obviously do not understand the realities of Dubai ...))) In terms of price/ quality ratio, this is the best hotel in the city! The chic JLT area, awesome views (just ask for a higher floor), near the metro and the Marina. There is also a Carrefour supermarket right below, and not expensive cafes, including a cafe with "homemade" food, which perfectly replaces expensive hotel food.
And the reality of Dubai is that it is cheaper than this hotel - only hotels in the garbage district of Deira with cockroaches and dead furniture, and there will be a lot of muddy people and crowds of prostitutes on the street...
So the Armada is a great hotel, I've been there 3 times. The only disadvantages are very dirty windows and stupid staff. Because of dirty windows, it is better to take rooms with a balcony, they are clean there, and you can enjoy the views on the balcony itself.
By the way, a few years ago the hotel was better - it was much cheaper, there was a transfer to the beach, there were Russian-speaking Kazakhs at the reception, and in general there were a lot of Kazakhs by the way. But apparently the hotel was outbid, it got a little worse, but overall it's also good.
