We would like to leave a review about our incredible trip to Istanbul. In October-November 2025 We stayed at the Taximtowen Hotel 4*. It is located in the very center of Taksim Square. 3 minutes to the funicular (there you can also buy an Istanbul card for trips on all types of public transport using the terminals for purchase, with which you can get to Kabatash station of the T1 tram line. And from there, by tram T1, you can get to all the top locations of the city (a small hint: in Hagia Sophia they do not accept dollars for buying tickets, only lira and euros, and in the Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan) I do not accept any cash at the ticket offices, only card payment). Very convenient. Near the hotel there are currency exchange offices, delicious cafes of the famous Mustafa Hafiz chain, Taksim Park, and Istiklal Street (an analogue of the Moscow Arbat) within a 4-minute walk.Our room on the 6th floor had a stunning view of the mosque on Taksim Square. I would like to mention the incredibly friendly hotel manager Arslan. Such a sincere, responsive, kind, sincerely loving person. He solved any issue quickly and efficiently. Thanks a lot to him. Breakfast is also provided at the hotel. It's quite tasty, but we warn you that there was no variety. But for the first meal, it is quite suitable. Istanbul welcomed us with amazing sunny weather, delicious food, great people, and a centuries-old history. And I would like to say that traveling is a small life. Travel, enjoy this life, we have only one.

What can I say about the hotel - it's nice, not a big hotel. The rooms are not too shabby (if you start to find fault, you can certainly find something to find fault with) The breakfast is quite ordinary without frills. The staff is very, very friendly. They will prompt and help. It is located 7 minutes from the street. Istiklal and 4 minutes from the square. Taksim. Literally in 5 minutes, if you get off, there is a bus stop and you can safely get to the port without any problems. The location is great, but one thing is the noise outside the window, but it didn't really bother. Recommend 👍

The hotel itself is quite nice, the rooms are clean, there is no sound insulation in the family room at all, and there is no breakfast. The hotel is not far from the metro and this is a plus. The downside is that as you walk from the subway to the hotel, you see transvestites and a lot more strange characters.
