The entry of 570 liras at the beginning of 2026 seems too high, given the empty walls. I've been to different fortresses: in Marmaris, in Kaliningrad, and this one is the most empty. Just bare walls. The view from it is certainly not bad, but there are enough places in Istanbul with a good view. And it's a long way to get there. I can recommend visiting this fortress only to history lovers to assess the scale and distances. I would advise everyone else to spend their time and money elsewhere.

It is recommended for a mandatory visit! After the restoration, it became possible to walk on the walls. And from there, there are simply incredible views of the Bosphorus! Warning: This is a government agency, so tickets can only be purchased by paying with a card, cash is not accepted. This rule is now in effect in ALL government institutions, up to cafes and souvenir shops.

The location and view of the Anatolian fortress are very beautiful, i visited in June 2025; As a parking area, ispark has a large parking lot very soon, Unlike similar buildings in the vicinity, it is operated by IMM, there is no museum card, the adult price is 85 TL, the student is 25 TL, the foreign tourist is priced at 300 TL, In general, I came across a smaller structure than I expected, the fact that the birds in the main tower have filled everything with their droppings causes a very bad smell, it's not difficult to move it away from the structure, the video room at the entrance was disappointing, I would have expected a more technological and working device, it's not suitable for imm, The building has just been restored, the area to visit is very limited, you only go for the view, children and the elderly can be very difficult on the steep stairs, I recommend it to young people :)
