I really liked the zoo. Ground floor for a photo with a tiger. Petting zoo with rabbits, guinea pigs... children of 5 people are allowed in and allowed to take photos. I paid for the entrance - everything is included (except food)😊

This is the best zoo of all the European ones that I have ever visited. Animals play, walk in conditions close to natural, very cool! In this zoo, you forget about time, you watch the animals - you just can't tear yourself away! So much joy was given to us by monkeys, a bear (playing with a swing), kangaroos, otters (who would have thought! they raced very funny), and, of course, majestic predators! We, tourists from St. Petersburg, fell in love with Baku, but we experienced the brightest joyful emotions in your Zoo!

Great. That's what the zoo of the Northern capital should be equal to (there is no place to do as two-level, make free aviaries, as in Baku and in that spirit, not as a shame in St. Petersburg zoo, although it is clear that the former director had so many apartments there not from scratch ;).
The zoo is of European level and the price is affordable.
Cool design, all under the open sky.

Three stars will probably seem offensive to the zoo staff. I will explain why the assessment is like this.
New buildings blocked the second entrance to the zoo, while no one thought to make changes to the maps.
The zoo is quiet, peaceful, families and schoolchildren are walking. There is no special variety of animals: ungulates, birds, familiar predators, aquariums and terrarium. Impressive is a tiger walking half a meter behind the glass, and a bear family climbing trees.
I really wanted to have lunch, sit in the warmth, and there were only lemonade trays around. Found under a summer cafe (try to find it!) a wonderful children's institution in the style of Alice through the Looking Glass. Inexpensive and delicious.
In general, attention would be to the zoo, but money. By the way, we were charged for the entrance in full, tourists!!

While vacationing in Baku and visiting all the main sights of the city, my husband and I decided to go to the zoo, having previously read rave reviews on the Internet. If you have been to the Moscow zoo, or the zoos of Europe, then the Baku zoo will not impress you. Firstly, there are few animals, and secondly, after visiting numerous beautifully groomed and beautiful parks of the city, it was in the zoo that I lacked beauty.
