There is a huge parking lot for cars behind the hotel building, passenger cars are parked for free for the Island's guests, and 1500 trucks per day. Nearby is the largest shopping mall in the city - Kostanay Plaza. It is better to book through the Island's own website - they give a 5% discount and do not require prepayment. There are rooms for smokers - 2nd floor. For non-smokers - 3rd and 4th floor. However, as cigarette smoke rises up, including through ventilation, it also stinks of smoking in non-smoking rooms. And this is the main problem of this hotel - the smell of smoking is everywhere. The rooms are well furnished, I lived in the studio - there is everything I need: a small refrigerator, air conditioning, a huge bed, a large TV on the wall, a kettle and dishes, bathrobes, slippers. The plumbing is damaged, but everything is working. Towels are changed every day. Very tasty a la carte breakfasts, the cost of breakfast is about 2000t. The center of Kostanay can be reached by car in 10-15 minutes or by taxi in about 700-900t. Very friendly reception staff. An interesting system of estimated time is a day from the moment of arrival, that is, I checked in at 16:30, I have to leave before 16:30 the next day. If plans have changed and you need to leave earlier, they recalculate and refund the money for every full day. Upd 09.2025: Smoking was banned in all rooms, and that's a good thing.
