Yes, it is majestic from the outside, but inside there is a mini market, museums and mounds of Ala excavation land, but in fact a photo area with a view was taken in the center.

The museum is quite small, maybe that's a good thing, it's better not to stay in any prison for a long time. There were 4 cells in Zindan, thanks to Prokudin-Gorsky, we can look into the faces of the unfortunate people who were kept in these stone pits. There are explanations in Russian, it is not always clear why such texts were chosen, but thanks for that. There was no consistent presentation.
The mock-ups of the unfortunate prisoners are in poor condition and in need of repair. Admission is cheap, and it's worth visiting the museum.

An interesting object that seems to be not quite correctly presented.
Being in such a place, some emotions should arise, but because of the strangely designed space, everything around seems frivolous and it was not particularly interesting.
In my opinion, it would be better to remove the mannequins from the cameras, give the opportunity to go down into this pit and see what everything looks like from there, add a video in the exhibition hall.

It's an unusual place, there's not much to see, but it's worth going before going to the Ark, they're nearby within walking distance. There is a guide who will take you through all the cells and corridors. Everything will take 15-20 minutes in time.

The tourist attraction of Bukhara is located within walking distance from the historical center. It does not take much time - it gives an idea of the strict conditions of detention of recedivists and debtors in the era of the emir. It consists of a fortification with a guard room, a 6-meter zindan and a cell for debtors. We were with the children, the inspection of the premises and inventory took 5-7 minutes.

We were happy to come here after an interesting tour of the Ark Citadel. The figures of prisoners in the dark depths of the dungeon, shackles, and other means of educational work with the contingent, clearly illustrate the harsh mores of ancient Bukhara.

I recommend a visit. A striking contrast compared to the historical center, its lively streets. There are not many tourists here. It won't be crowded. 3 cameras. A pit for political prisoners - I can't imagine how anyone could be in it. Torture. The passage through the courtyard for walking was remembered most of all.

It's beautiful and majestic outside! It's worse inside. There is a shop with Soviet souvenirs. The audio guide is 100,000 soums (800 rubles.), But there is nothing much to watch. A lot of things are closed. If you do not visit this place while in Bukhara, you will not lose anything.

The museum is small, as is the prison itself. A lot of people were not kept here, mostly debtors. The bug pit is 6.5 meters deep, named accordingly because of the bugs that infested it. Exhibits - shackles, whips, sculptures of guards (with very kind faces :). 2 British spies were imprisoned in 1842 before their execution. Take a walk around the building, you will find a narrow passage with an interesting ending.
