There are small shops on the territory with clothes, jewelry, souvenirs and the most pleasant thing is inexpensive sweets, chocolates, mangoes and other goods. There are supermarkets, cafes within a 7-minute walk, and there is also an aquarium not far away. It takes about 30-40 minutes to walk to the amusement park and the water park. There is always a taxi near the hotel. The food went only for breakfast, it's not a bad buffet; vegetables, cheeses, toast, porridge, rice, pasta, canned fruits, donuts, muffins, juice, and more opened at 7:15 to 10:00, although written from 8 to 10. The room was provided for two with one bed, and we went to Troy with a child, you can order an additional bed for a child, but for an additional fee (daily), there are no toothbrushes and toothpaste, I had to buy in a store, as well as a weak pressure from the shower who likes warmer water, you can open one hot water to change the towels you need to leave They're on the floor. There was a week in April 2024. Really the best beach on the coast. The small hotel was built in the 70s, but clean, tidy and renovated. Separate 5 stars for the staff, they will always help. Room service is above praise, especially for a 4-star hotel. We took two chalets with sea views. On the ground floor, they complained of a slight dampness in the evening. I liked everything on the second one. The rooms have standard bath kits: shampoo, gel, lotion, cap, nail file, cotton swabs, bathrobe, slippers, towels. There is a safe in the room, a mini-bar, a table book, standard booklets with a restaurant schedule, a blackboard, an iron, scales, a set of threads and an adapter in the socket by the bed. They cleaned well every day. For a family holiday, a quiet, great place with a wonderful, affordable location.

The hotel is not bad, it is located on the first line, near the pool and the beach. The food is quite tasty, although there is not much choice, but there was always fish and meat and chicken and salads, pastries and watermelons for lunch and dinner. The room was in the main building, cleaning every day, changing towels every day too, they gave one 1.5l bottle of water to the room every day too. The room has a small refrigerator, kettle, safe, large wardrobe, iron, scales, TV. There is a hair dryer in the toilet, but it is very weak. The air conditioner works well, even sometimes it was turned off. There are no complaints about the staff, they always helped when they asked questions. But the hotel itself is small, there is no entertainment in the evening. If the view from the room is of the city, then it is very noisy, because of the road that passes nearby.

We had a rest from 06.04 to 12.04.2024, We really liked everything! Deluxe room, quite satisfied. The beach is gorgeous, the sea is clean, gorgeous, I'm in love. The location is very good, 10-15 minutes to Dubai. There is a port nearby. To take a sunbed with an umbrella, you will have to get up early, but this is everywhere. The cleaning is absolutely normal, there is no mold in the room. Before leaving, I read a lot of reviews and got upset. But in fact, I had a great rest. There are 0 complaints about the hotel, although I am quite picky. The food is good, of course, without frills, but everything is there and the food is delicious! Some people write that the food is terrible, it's not true. Maybe these people have been vacationing in luxury hotels and are comparing. In the emirates, vouchers to such hotels cost from 500 tons. We stayed at the Carlton Hotel in late March and early April.
We were in the UAE for the first time.
Of the advantages :
1 great location
2 the beach itself with fine sand is super
3 The Persian Gulf is beautiful.
4 relatively quiet
5 the hotel has a shop with date sweets, very tasty. For a normal price. Sellers gave sweets to all passing people.
6 the staff is quite attentive. If you don't like the room, then honestly the next day they can move you to a better room. We didn't change it. Everything was fine with us.
7 The room's air conditioning did not fail
8 shampoos, gels, soaps - I replenished everything daily, no matter how many hygiene products were left.
9 towels were changed every day, basically.
Minuses
1 for me, the biggest fat disadvantage was nutrition. I'm not a pretentious tourist, in terms of food. I usually don't fall for reviews like "food for 3, poor, nothing to eat", but this was not the case. There was really nothing to eat on some days. There was a feeling that the cooks alternated: one day everything was delicious, the next it was completely inedible. There is a very very poor selection of dishes.
2 dead sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach.
3 the hotel was undergoing renovation during our visit, my husband and I did not know about it. I couldn't sleep at lunch.
4 with beach towels - the trouble is: you can't take them to the room, if you hand over raw, then they won't give you a new one that day.
Probably, for me, that's all of the cons.
Would you come back to this hotel again? I think so, if the food had improved and the sunbeds from the umbrella and on the beach had been updated.

A wonderful hotel! Small, but very cozy and everything is at a high level! Excellent food, excellent beach and sea, do not regret the room with a sea view, it's worth it! The pool is near the beach, the water is cooler than in the sea. The most important thing for us was the beach as in the bounty advertisement, so we chose this hotel. And you were not mistaken!!! The beach is its main advantage!!!!!!!! It was almost always empty, although there were people on the nearby beaches. There are a lot of shells, the purest water and sand. There is a photo zone made of stones on the edge of the beach. Photos are a bomb! On food: we took breakfast and dinner, you can change dinner for lunch. The food is not just insanely diverse, but it seems to me that in 7 days we took everything new every time. It is delicious, there is something to eat for both children and adults. In general, I strongly advise everyone! There is an amazing aquarium and 2 supermarkets nearby. There are also souvenir shops in the hotel itself: chocolate-covered dates, insanely sweet and cheap mangoes, magnets, etc.

We rested at this hotel from 26.10 to 03.11.2023. A nice hotel, but for a quiet quiet holiday. Music is not included, there is no entertainment. The beach is very nice, clean. Sand. The water is clean and warm. There is a cafe on the beach, for an additional payment you can drink cocktails, order a burger, French fries, soda. The burger is big, two adults can eat in peace. There are sun beds, we always found free ones. If necessary, the staff put more. They put mattresses on deck chairs. Towels are given out. The water in the pool is also warm. The maximum depth is 260 cm . Diving and jumping are not prohibited.
There were four of us. 2 adults and 2 boys 14 and 11 years old. We paid for a large room right away. We were put in room 308. Large, two-room. Two balconies, sea view. The room has a kettle, iron and ironing board. Towels were changed every day. Stocks of coffee and tea were replenished every day. For the bath, soap, shampoo, shower gel, body lotion are laid out. The air conditioner is adjustable, you can turn it off completely.
There are enough outlets in the room, but none of them fits our plugs. Take the adapters. The hotel gives, but he's all killed and sparks. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo. There are three flat elements inserted into the socket.
We only took breakfast. There is no variety, all the time is the same. But they didn't go hungry. If lunch and dinner are not included in the tour, then you can eat at the hotel for a fee. It costs 58 dirhams per person. The four of us ate too much in a restaurant for 100 dirhams. There is also a Fairy Tale cafe, they have a good menu and delivery, ordered directly to the hotel.
Of the hotel's guests, 97℅ were Russian speakers. In general, we are satisfied. We enjoyed the sea, the pool and just relaxing.
I really want to talk to the owner of the hotel to change the concept. It would be cool and not like everyone else.

Its main advantage is the beach, smooth access to the sea, fine pleasant sand, a 10-minute walk from the hotel there is an aquarium and a port from which ferries run to Dubai (ticket 15 dirhams per person, ~ 30 minutes).

We lived in a bungalow, to the right of the central building, if you look from the road, there is some kind of vegetable garden in this part of the hotel, there is no lawn, it looks so-so. The room is quite tired, the general air conditioning system on the street is making quite a lot of noise, it can be heard in the room. The bathroom had bloated paint and mold on the wall.
The sun beds on the beach are full of tin, at 8 a.m. they are already all occupied, perhaps in the evening, only those who are in the sun remain, there are not enough umbrellas, but in Egypt you can't really lie in the sun. There is no entertainment in the hotel, in the evening, unlike the neighboring hotel, the territory is not illuminated.
I will definitely not go here a second time, the hotel pulls a maximum of 1-2 stars.

We took breakfast. There were different side dishes every day. Everything is minimalistic and delicious. The only thing would be more fruits, and not canned ones.
The trump card of the hotel is the beach. There were always enough sun beds. There were not always umbrellas, but shade could be found. A red flag was posted for 3/6 days. Rescuers are very controlling of vacationers.
During the rest, we took 2 excursions - from saidturs. Very reasonable prices and excellent quality. The guide was Said. It's interesting and tells everything about the case. Everything is organized, he will answer all questions with ease. Russian Russian knows more than the Russians themselves. I definitely recommend it!
The rest went well. But for those who want a suite, think about it, maybe such a hotel will not suit you.
If I get the chance, I will definitely return to Carlton.

Side dishes are different - rice, pasta, vegetables. Greens in the form of salads are present, there are delicious olives- olives. There is always tea. Porridge and yogurt help out for breakfast, I don't eat eggs. There is a strain with fruits and desserts, but this is not a problem. There are delicious budget mangoes in the shop at the hotel, and about desserts, so this is only a plus! There is no temptation, so there are no extra pounds. If you are overseas, then this is definitely your hotel. If you like entertainment and gastronomy, look at something else so as not to spoil your vacation with regrets. We travel a lot, and each time we pick up what we want this time. The priority was the sea, it did not let us down!!! Good balconies in the rooms, this is important for me. This is one of the criteria for choosing a hotel. The room itself and its filling are not as important to me as the opportunity to sit in the evening with a view of the sea and the stars. A feature of Carlton, a beautiful view of the planes taking off and landing in Dubai against the background of the evening and night sky. It is interesting to observe how lights appear at intervals of a minute, turning into airplanes. I'll tell you right away, you can't hear the hum! Conclusion for myself - nothing annoyed me, I swam a lot, smiled a lot, I was happy! So the choice was right, if possible, we will return to this hotel (we used to be in Sharjah in 2 others). I will note separately, there is a travel agency across the street, they bought "Night Dubai", they are satisfied!!! In the same place, Tatiana suggested a fish market, visited, bought, ate! There are plenty of sun beds on the beach and near the pool. Towels are provided. The beach is a fire! A beautiful sloping entrance, clear water, clean, white sand. The beach is wide. You can walk for hours. There is a supermarket near the hotel (to the left). To the right of the hotel there are KFS and McDuck, other cafes. However, they did not work during Ramadan. There is a gift shop and a sweet shop right in the hotel (cheap and tasty)
The hotel also has a gym. There is a free bus service from the hotel to two shopping malls.

A budget old hotel for unassuming tourists.

I am not a picky tourist, I have lived in Turkish 3*, but I have not seen such junk yet..
After several trips to the reception, we were still moved, however, the next day, to room 219 on the same floor.
This room is better (there is a normal 2-bed and does not smell damp), but it is also noisy and the bathroom also needs renovation.
I suppose there are good rooms in the hotel, but they are more expensive.
They were not allowed to change it even for an additional fee.
The food is also three-starved: breakfast is very meager, for me there was only oatmeal porridge, but it is impossible to eat it every day.
At lunch, the situation with the dishes is better, there is something to choose, but also modestly, not by 4 *.
Of the fruits, only watermelon.
Tea and coffee from the Titanic, like in a Soviet children's camp..
As the hotel guide explained to us, the 4 * hotel was given for being on the first line.

Excellent location - first line, quiet rest without animators, the food is moderately varied, but there is no buffet for buying drinks and some desserts. But a very inexpensive shop with a large selection of sweets and mango inexpensive, tea and coffee beans and ground. No need to go to the city for goodies when you leave, everything you need is at the hotel! And clothes, and souvenirs, and bags! Of the minuses - sun beds are in short supply (there are a lot of broken ones, not enough), in the morning they have to be occupied early, alas. There were big cockroaches in the room (oh, horror!) and red-haired small ants. Humidity is felt - mold is on the walls.
A lot of cats! Here they are fed and not arrogant. The only thing on the beach sometimes smells of their urine.

There are few dishes here, but they are delicious and edible. Fish, chicken, beef,salads, vegetables,only watermelon and canned fruits. We took breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In the morning, tea, coffee, packaged juice are served from drinks. Lunch and dinner tea and coffee. Water only in the room is 1.5 liters per room per day. There is no alcohol, if you like to drink, you are not here or buy in a dutik. Jamil's guide talks about everything, the staff tries to help in every possible way, which was nice. In principle, it's not bad, but the cost is too high. In the store, prices are at least 2 times more expensive than in Moscow for almost everything.
