I visited the Squirrelstore in Dana Mall, hoping for pleasant purchases, but I ran into an unexpected situation. There are no price tags on the products, all prices are only in the general list with small print, with my eyesight (+2.5) they are impossible to make out. To find out the price of the kettle, I had to turn it over — the lid suddenly fell and broke. I stayed where I was, told the staff everything honestly, and waited for the administrator (Julia). Instead of dialogue and a fair solution, I was forced to pay part of the cost under threat of calling the police. Although, according to the law on consumer protection, I did not have to pay, because the store did not provide normal conditions for familiarization with the product. Even if I found out that the kettle costs more than 400 rubles, I would never touch it. The store's policy turned out to be: "We get beaten up here every day, so what now?" But if the price had been immediately visible, such cases could have been avoided. Friends, not knowing my rights, I found myself in the red — let my experience help others to be more attentive and demand respect for the buyer! The store's actions contradict Article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Consumer Rights Protection".
