A solid royal building, against which the whole country contrasts.
It is very conveniently located next to the train station. An excursion with a visit to even the roof costs 40k. This is quite justified, especially considering that the guide-administrator will tell you a lot of interesting things about the building and those distant times.
I strongly advise you, if you arrive at the train station, to go even with your luggage (you can leave it on the 1st floor).

Said Abd al-Ahad Khan, aka the Emir of Bukhara, was closely associated with Russia. He built this palace for the arrival of Nicholas II, with whom he was rumored to be friends. He didn't come, but he kind of sent a delegation. The emir himself was a progressive, though the last ruler of his dynasty, abolished slavery, and many death clauses of that time. He loved Russia, even bought land and built a castle in Crimea. 👍
The building is currently undergoing restoration.

A wonderful place of our dear history. There is something to see and listen to, they will give you a short tour and tell you the history of this place. It was built for Nicholas II in 1895, who never arrived

The palace is in a deplorable state. It would be better to sell it, as a resident of the city, I will even be glad if an investor buys it, restores it and makes it into a banquet hall, restaurant, hotel, or just a paid place to visit. There is a Mahalla and other organizations on the territory. It is getting more and more destroyed every day.

It is very impressive in its scope and quality of construction, considering that repairs have not been done for 147 years. Architect Benoit.
I really hope that the Kazakh authorities will find funds for the restoration of such a valuable historical object

The entrance is 20 thousand Soums. The palace is very beautiful. Inside, you just lose the power of speech from the scope and former greatness. Of course, the palace is already begging for repairs. I hope to be able to save it. We had 20 minutes free before the train, we had time to see everything where they let us go.

A gorgeous place! The only thing that is annoying, but this is not only a problem of this place in Uzbekistan, that this historical image is being destroyed in pursuit of profit, a market is being bred everywhere, Coca Cola umbrellas at cafes right next to the palace, it is too disharmonious and destroys the atmosphere.

A beautiful European palace built by an enlightened Eastern monarch.
The guide showed the architectural details, told the sad story of the palace.
When they approached, a lady who appeared from nowhere announced the price, opened the rooms available for inspection. At the same time, tickets there, apparently, are not provided at all. To whom the money was given is a mystery!)))
While we were watching, the guide came up, told everything wonderfully without any money and escorted us to the train. Amazing!

Initially, the palace was beautiful. Now it is in an unsatisfactory condition. A local employee for 15,000 soums per person volunteered to show us the attraction. I walked around the first floor. And apparently it became lazy to go to the second one. She said they wouldn't let her in there. When leaving the gate, I turned around and saw how the next group went up to the second floor. You can go there too.

A wonderful place, one of the most beautiful buildings in the Bukhara region. You definitely need to see it. I hope it will be restored in the near future, while the small hall leaves the strongest impressions (you need to ask the locals to open it, it is locked). The influence of European architecture is noticeable, while inside there is an oriental flavor.

A very beautiful palace, an architectural rarity, a UNESCO heritage gem. It is a pity that there is no funding for restoration and repair, the palace is falling into disrepair, the tiles on the furnaces have long been beaten off and thrown away, the unique gypsum cutting is covered with putty... Everything is deplorable

This is the most significant attraction of the city of Bukhara. But if it had been put in order and made more exhibits instead of small shops (sherpotreb), it would have been even better. It is necessary to develop the tourist business and not to make a bazaar in the sights.

A crumbling manor house. The failed local residence of the Russian emperor with its once luxurious decoration, which has never been repaired in 100 years. Inspection for 10 minutes inside (1 hall entrance hall and 1 hall front and all) and outside.
