an incredible stunningly beautiful majestic mosque 🥰 you will feel like you are in a fairy tale. you need to see it both in daylight and at sunset. only muslims will understand the restrictions regarding appearance. the mosque is active, people pray in it, so visitors must cover their awrah. girls are allowed in only in abayas - you can buy them there or rent them. many different strict rules, but it's worth it!
Must-see! It is very beautiful and grandiose at the same time very refined. It is better to go on a weekday, taking an abaya with you. In the evening it is especially beautiful with lighting.

The mosque itself is certainly beautiful, both from the point of view of architecture and from the point of view of a simple tourist. Everything is organized very correctly and conveniently, registration for a free ticket, passage, inspection in the security control area. But the route itself for tourists has now become very short, taking photos through a narrow area covered with ribbons takes at most 15 minutes, but you can walk in ten, and that's it, on the way out. Previously, five years ago, it was possible to freely walk around the mosque and see almost everything. Therefore, the advice is simple, buy local clothes and just walk through the aisle like an ordinary visitor to the mosque. In front of the entrance to the mosque there is a fairly spacious shopping complex with a large number of cafes and restaurants, which is very convenient for those who want to retrain or have a hearty lunch before or after visiting the mosque. It is best to visit the mosque in the morning, arrive by 9:00, you need to have the right clothes with you, this will save you 50 dirhams for men and 45 for women, this is how much sets of clothes cost in the shops in front of the mosque for those tourists who want to visit the mosque but are not dressed appropriately.

The big attraction of Abu Dhabi. Crowds of people, mostly Chinese and Hindus. A "new model", but very beautiful. I recommend you to visit.
To visit, you need to dress appropriately, but you can do it without fanaticism. For girls, there is a long skirt, a long-sleeve T-shirt and a headscarf. They won't let you in without it, and if you take off your headscarf, you'll be asked to put it back on. A hoodie with a hood will do the same. Pants and a T-shirt for boys. They don't pay attention to bare ankles.
The entrance is underground, it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the mosque, there are travelators, there are electric cars for those who find it difficult to walk or who have children. Everyone is crowding and taking pictures at the entrance, but at the end there are the same views and no crowds.
To visit, you need a QR code, which you can either get in advance, or if there is an Internet connection on the spot, on the mosque's website. Well, or stand in line to receive it.

It is a very beautiful and majestic place.
The scope of everything.
Starting from the way to the mosque through an underground corridor, ending with the largest crystal chandeliers weighing 12 tons and huge carpets on the floor.
I advise everyone to visit this place, I really liked the decoration of the halls, ornaments made of semi-precious stones, chandeliers, carpets, there is something to see.
Be careful, there is a dress code.
1. Clothes should not be translucent, the body should not be visible.
2. Men should have their knees covered.
3. Women are much stricter, the skirt is up to the ankles, the head is covered.
But you can rent or buy local clothes, either from a guide or at the entrance to the mosque.

We visited the Sheikh Zayed Mosque!
Full of delight!!!
Oriental luxury architecture style!
The carpet in the modeling room is very beautiful and, as it turned out, very heavy! :))
Yes, such beauty (carpet) cannot be created just like that, it takes a lot of effort!
But it was worth it!
And what gorgeous chandeliers with Swarovski crystals!!!!
It is impossible to describe all the beauty and luxury of the mosque!
It's just a must see!!!
For anyone planning to visit the Emirates, I just strongly recommend taking a trip to Abu Dhabi and visiting this magnificent piece of architectural art.
The white marble mosque is beautiful both day and evening (lighting)!
I'm sure you won't regret it

It's a very beautiful and atmospheric place! A real Arabic fairy tale, you immediately get into the culture of the East!
You can visit without an excursion for free, you need to register in advance on the website. The queue for visitors moves quite quickly, inside the halls there are signs in English with descriptions of iconic decorative elements. It is impossible to stay for a long time, as there is a very large flow of people, even with baby strollers.

It's a very beautiful place. A must-visit in the UAE. The mosque is beautiful at any time of the day, but I would advise you to see it during the day. To appreciate its snow-white color (do not forget the glasses, it is simply dazzling in the sun). Well, I would like tourists to show respect for the traditions of the country they came to and dress appropriately in such places. At the entrance, you can buy an abaya or dress in accordance with the requirements - women should cover their arms, legs (no bare legs in flip-flops), heads, no trousers. It is enough for men to cover their knees and shoulders. At the entrance, you will simply be deployed and forced to dress accordingly to the place

In the desert, where there is a sultry expanse and peace,
The mosque rises to the sky with its snow-white beauty.
Sheikh Zayed's creation is a shrine of the earth,
The sun was lit in its domes, as in the heart.
Minarets, like candles, are burning high up,
Reflected in the waters that flow in silence.
The marble is white, the patterns are like the sky hello,
Here the soul finds a sacred answer.
And five times a day, like the voice of heaven.,
The Azan rings out, calling everyone around.
Muadzin sings, and in his tune
All the wisdom of the ages, all the love and hope.
"Allahu Akbar!" — it sounds above the ground,
And it echoes over the desert wave.
He calls for prayer, for peace, for light.,
So that everyone can find answers in their lives.
Oh, Sheikh Zayed Mosque, you are a sign of eternity,
You are a symbol of faith, love and lines of grace.
Time is frozen in your walls, like a dream,
And he breathes forever in every dome of yours.
Here the soul finds peace and warmth.,
And in my heart it sounds: "Everything is passing, it has passed..."
But the Azan is eternal, which calls us to prayer.,
In a snow-white mosque, where everything is always alive.

My favorite mosque! Of course, mosques don't share it, but it's impossible to convey the tranquility and beauty! He visits this mosque with his family once a week to pray! Lots of tourists! However, those who do not pray are not allowed to enter that prayer area, everything is clean, when you go to pray, you take off your shoes in another place, which is why I say you walk barefoot to the prayer hall, your feet are clean, so clean! Despite the fact that a lot of people visit this room, the room is large, the hall is large for prayer, there are chairs for those who cannot pray standing up, books of the Koran, the carpet is soft, clean always! Bottled water in the gym! All conditions for those who pray! I recommend it!

A unique place! A must-visit! Majesty, spiritual purity, austerity, innocence... You can describe this mosque for a long time. Incredibly beautiful white marble interspersed with drawings. It is impossible to see enough. It is both expensive and quiet at the same time. I was surprised by the entrance system: through the shopping center underground, through a long, long tunnel with escalators. A very strict dress code, you can't cheat, and why behave so disrespectfully in a country with strict morals. While we were moving by bus from the last location to the mosque, the guide told us the story of the creation of this interesting place, gave abayas to women who did not have their arms and legs covered. Security is just on every meter, it won't work to sit down for a photo or touch something extra. Impressions of beauty will last for a long time 🙏

The Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi is not just an architectural masterpiece, but a true symbol of harmony, faith and cultural heritage. At first glance, it impresses with its scale and sophistication: snow-white domes decorated with golden patterns rush into the sky, and the minarets seem to draw a pattern between the clouds. This is a place where modern technology and traditional Islamic style merge in perfect unity.
Once inside, it's impossible not to hold your breath. The main prayer hall welcomes visitors with the world's largest handmade carpet, woven with incredible precision, and sparkling chandeliers made of crystal and gold leaf. The light coming through the stained glass creates a play of shadows and colors, filling the space with warmth and divine radiance. Every detail here is thought out to the smallest detail, from marble mosaics with floral ornaments to Arabic calligraphy on the walls quoting the Quran.
The atmosphere of the mosque leaves a special impression. Despite its grandeur, there is an amazing calm and tranquility here. Walking through the spacious courtyards with mirrored pools reflecting arches and colonnades, you feel time slowing down. And in the evening, when the lights turn on, the mosque turns into a fabulous vision hovering over the city.
It is important to note that the Sheikh Zayed Mosque is one of the rare places open to visitors of all religions and cultures. The tours are conducted with great respect for traditions: the guides tell about Islam, the history of the mosque and the legacy of Sheikh Zayed, whose dream of intercultural dialogue has been realized here.
I advise you to set aside a few hours to visit: try on traditional clothes (abaua or kandura), provided for free, linger in the gardens, take photos against the background of marble arches and be sure to come back here in the evening — these are two completely different, but equally exciting experiences.
The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is more than a tourist attraction. This is a place where the soul finds peace, and the heart is filled with gratitude for the opportunity to touch something eternal and beautiful. It is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the art, history and spiritual wealth of mankind.

It's very atmospheric, like a business card of the UAE.
But... Unfortunately, there are...
a lot of tourists, everyone is shoving, pushing, a lot of closed areas, I want to take cool photos, but there are people everywhere, it's fenced in, it's fenced in, don't go here, don't go there, don't stand here for a long time, generally BEAUTIFUL, but not very comfortable!

The beautiful mosque was visited 2 times: in the daytime and in the evening. An ordinary tourist place, with its own infrastructure, cafes and shops. The mosque itself is a delight in terms of construction, the large territory is well-maintained and modern. The center of the "tourist pilgrimage", although prayers are read, there is a feeling of emptiness and "not being prayed for" of the place.

The mosque is very beautiful, I would like to go there.
We took an all-day tour: the Sheikh's palace, lunch at a restaurant in Abu Dhabi, the market, the Sheikh's Mosque.
The tour to the mosque itself took about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and there is very little time to go around the entire territory.
We went inside and walked along the handmade carpet.
Women have a strict dress code so that everything is covered except the face and hands. The arms, legs, neck, ankles, and hair should all be covered with an abbaye. There is control at the entrance.
There are no restrictions on clothing for men and children.
There are a lot of tourists, because of this, the traffic is long and the queues are long.

Sheikh Zayed Mosque - The White Miracle of the East…The mosque was conceived and erected as a monument in memory of the most revered man in the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, already mentioned above. The mosque can only be described in superlatives. Majestic columns, stunning marble floors, ornaments, amazing lighting - all this creates the impression of a fairy tale come to life. The interior is decorated with very expensive materials, including precious stones and gold leaf. The main prayer hall can accommodate up to 7,000 people, and the total capacity of the entire mosque is up to 70,000 ... you can write a lot about all this, but to convey all this splendor in words or photographs is a hopeless task)))therefore, I recommend everyone to definitely go and see for themselves.

The mosque is incredibly beautiful! I advise you to arrive an hour before sunset to find the mosque in the sunlight and admire the evening lighting. I also advise you to join the free guided tour, which takes place every hour and starts in one of the halls of the gallery (as you follow the route, do not miss it, there is a large stand with an announcement of the start time of the next tour). Then, as part of a small group, you can walk through the wing closed from the general flow of tourists, enter the prayer hall and walk along the same carpet (you will need to take off your shoes). The tour is in English, but even my mother was comfortable with a forgotten school English level - many thanks to the guide Said, who created a pleasant atmosphere of cordiality and extraordinary hospitality. If you don't understand English well, then you should just follow the rules that the guide will announce, which is to stick to the group, and in the prayer hall do not sit on the carpet and do not pray, and also do not enter the glass mosaics between the columns.

The mosque is incredibly beautiful, it feels like you are trapped in a Thousand and One Nights fairy tale.
To visit, you need to register in advance on the mosque's website and get a quarkod for admission — it's free.
We checked in a few hours before the visit, on the same day. It's better to arrive early, we went in at 10 a.m., there weren't many people, but when we left, there were crowds and many groups coming towards us.
The entrance to the mosque is through the shopping center, where you can have a snack and, if necessary, buy clothes for the mosque. Women should wear closed clothes, and only their faces and hands can be exposed. Transparent and tight-fitting clothing is also prohibited. The cost of an abaya starts from 45 dirhams. I was wearing wide trousers and a hoodie, and they let me in. Men are not allowed to wear shorts, and you can also rent clothes.
They let us in with small backpacks, but they asked us to take the large ones to the storage room, which is paid.
It takes a few minutes to walk from the shopping center to the mosque via an underground passage, and there are also several security guards. Then the exit to the street and the route around the mosque, partly along the street, partly inside. The whole visit took about an hour.
The mosque is fabulously beautiful, makes a strong impression, I highly recommend visiting.

A big, beautiful and gorgeous mosque! We were very impressed! Especially at sunset to watch it and you can see how it looks during the day and after sunset! Inside, it's generally royal!
It is also not far from the aquarium, you can get there by public transport, we advise you!
The control system there is worse than the president's, it's just tin!
Tips:
Men have closed knees and shoulders, without drawings and inscriptions on clothes. Lighters are being taken away, perhaps something else.
For women, everything is closed in the hem and the hands are closed by the hand, otherwise they will not be allowed to buy clothes there. You can walk around and find it for 45 dollars.
Route. The mosque is accessed from the underground shopping complex. There is also registration for admission for free. There is no need to go to the mosque, everything is underground. After registering the passage at one end, go to the checkpoint at the other end, for inspection and inspection 4 times, and after 1-2 kilometers of the tunnel, fortunately on the travolator, you can climb. Photos are strictly from the places of photographing, but you can also take them from other places. If there are gestures or something else with poses, the guard will take you out and force you to delete the photo (and from the trash too) or simply require you to delete the photo.

SHEIKH ZAYED MOSQUE IN ABU DHABI: important information on visiting
1. Working hours:
on Fridays from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 22:00;
on other days from 09:00 to 22:00.
During Ramadan, the working hours change, you can find out the opening hours on the official website
➡️ Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center.
2. Entrance to the mosque. To get to the mosque, you need to enter the glass dome (photo 2), take the escalator down to the underpass (there are cafes and shops in it), turn left, go to the end of the passage and then you will get to the first checkpoint.
3. Registration. Before visiting the mosque, you must register electronically. You can do this in advance on the mosque's website
➡️ Online Access Pass or on-site using a special terminal (from the escalator to the right, photo 3). It takes only a couple of minutes and as a result you get a QR code that needs to be shown at the inspection.
4. The cost of visiting the mosque: free of charge.
5. Dress code. There is a certain very strict dress code (photo 4). For men, these are trousers and a T-shirt with sleeves. Women need to cover their legs to the ankles, hands to the wrists and cover their heads with a scarf (at the same time, clothes should not be tight and transparent). If your clothes do not fit, then next to the entrance you can buy an abaya for women, and a candura for men (clothes are no longer given out here for free). The cost can be viewed in photo 6.
6. Checkpoints. At the first checkpoint, the conformity of clothing is checked, as well as the presence of registration (QR code). Then you need to go through the second checkpoint with a thorough inspection (as at the airport). If you find things during the inspection that are forbidden to be brought into the mosque, then they will need to be deposited and get a number.
We had to hand over the microphones. As it turned out, video recording with a voice on the territory of the mosque is strictly prohibited. You can only shoot videos in silence. We also saw that other visitors were forbidden to bring food, drinks and even toys.
7. Photos. You can take photos on the territory of the mosque only in specially designated places. The security guards closely monitor compliance with the rules.
P.S. Interesting facts about this mosque, as well as its photos, can be found in our social networks:

The place is beautiful and solemn! The visit is free! You only need to register on their website before entering and choose the time of your visit in advance! There is a strict dress code at the entrance! Especially for women!!! Very strict inspection at the entrance, which I consider very unnecessary!!! They even find fault with an unfastened button! If you don't have a long dress, then you will be sent to buy it at a nearby store, for a lot of money! No offense, but we've been to Russian churches and even mosques in Turkey, and they give us free handkerchiefs and skirts or floor-length aprons at the entrance!!! And then the mosque did business again!!!
When visiting a mosque here in Abu Dhabi, I had to put two dresses on top of each other, because it turned out that one long dress has a small slit in the front, and the other on the side!🤣😵💫😲
I also had to wrap a scarf and a sweatshirt around myself so that not a single millimeter of my body would show through my clothes. 😱That's how the dress code service let me through dressed as a clown! Both clothes and things are checked like at the airport!!!
The decoration of the mosque itself is beautifully done! Expensive and rich! The chandeliers are simply a delight!
I'll give a minus for the extra fuss and nagging at the entrance about the shape of the clothes to the point of fanaticism!!!
Another age, friends! Be more tolerant or provide uniform clothes for free at the entrance, if you have a lot of money in the region, these are the little things for you!
