Delicious, delicious, and delicious again We have already visited many Turkish restaurants in Istanbul and did not expect that anything else could surprise us. But then we found ourselves in the Deraliye restaurant, which was marked in the MICHELIN guide (as we learned later), and this place became the most enjoyable gastronomic experience of our entire trip.👏🏻 All the dishes we ordered were beyond praise. Even the basil drink, which is served as a compliment in many local food establishments, tasted much better than the previous places. The service is fast: the main dishes arrived in just 10 minutes. The only negative, perhaps, is the slightly long wait for the bill. As it is, everything is wonderful.

We sampled: assorted meze, tomato stuffed with shrimp, tandoor lamb and goose kebab according to an old recipe from the kitchen of Suleiman the Magnificent (1539). Score: 7560₺ — the price level is comparable to the top restaurants in Moscow or Sochi (even more expensive). The snacks are interesting, tasteful, but noticeably adapted to the European public, unlike those served at the hotel. The stuffed tomato expected more: after heat treatment, it lost its flavor brightness, and the shrimp did not sound like a separate accent — in the end it turned out too simple. Goose kebab, on the contrary, pleasantly surprised. Juicy duck with rice, baked under the thinnest crust of dough — the dish turned out to be unusual and worthy (1750₺). Tandoor lamb has become a disappointment: in fact, it is kutya with meat for 1,650rubles. It's too corny for one of the most expensive items on the menu. The service is worse than in Russia, the dirty napkin lay all through dinner... Total: the food is generally decent, there are successful dishes, but the impression is blurred by the discrepancy between the price and the level of service. Great place! My wife and I didn't book a table, but we found a place. It was cool on the terrace and they brought us a blanket and covered us up. The food was delicious. We asked about the SBP payment, the waiter said that there was, but then it turned out the opposite - they misunderstood each other. I didn't have any cash or a card with me. I had to quickly issue a virtual Turkish card (10 minutes) and was able to pay. The waiter was worried and calmly approached without hitting. The service is the best we have seen in Turkey. I recommend it to everyone!

The restaurant was recommended by the guide. We didn't regret it, moreover, we visited it several times. Attentive staff, the menu is in Russian, there are pictures of dishes. Very pleasant atmosphere. There are no questions about the food, everything is delicious and unusual. We took the wine by the glass, homemade Turkish was a credit! On Valentine's Day, they gave everyone a beautifully decorated postcard and a chocolate heart, gave another one as a gift to their daughter, and treated her to wine for free. The check is not low. But I definitely recommend it, it's worth it.

We planned a trip to this restaurant back in Moscow, after all, the Ottoman cuisine, the Michelin star, the chef who performs with us on the Russia channel!!!... The cuisine is very tasty and authentic, of course! There is a menu in Russian. We didn't take sets from the chef because we really wanted to try more different dishes. As a result, the choice fell on vegetable salads and three different hot dishes with an unusual meat serving. I liked all three salads, nothing supernatural, it's just delicious, fresh vegetables. Meat with figs and almonds went the most, it just tasted amazing, meat in melon was not very inspiring, and duck meat in puff pastry turned out to be the most delicious! We also took an assortment of snacks (meze), with thin tortillas, which are endlessly brought and brought by waiters, this is something amazing!!!!! I highly recommend taking homemade wine, which is white, which is red, quite nothing... Although the wine list is very decent, there is a large selection of brands and prices... We also got to desserts, delicious, but not "awesome"... In general, of course, an interesting experience, worth a visit, but you have to be ready to fork out: for three (there were two glasses of wine from alcohol) we left 30,000 rubles (this is, of course, in terms of our money, Mir cards, like any other Russian ones, still do not accept, only cash: $, € or local lira)... We tried two dishes: meat in melon and cutlets with eggplant puree (I don't remember the original name)! We celebrated the anniversary of the spouse on 30.07.2024. We booked in advance, a friend of Gurkan helped us to get into it in the evening and enjoy the sunset. The place is just wonderful, the cuisine is extraordinary, the views are fantastic, the waiter is at a height, speaks including Russian. Special thanks for the anniversary gift from the restaurant. Very nice! An atmospheric establishment, one of the best in Istanbul (of those where we were, 3 trips to this wonderful city). I can't list everything, but the goose kebab and katmer are simply masterpieces. The holiday was a great success.

We found this restaurant by chance when we thought to try such interesting and delicious things in Istanbul. And how surprised we were when we found a Michelin-starred restaurant! We ordered a tasting of the dishes for two. The peculiarity of this restaurant is that all dishes are prepared according to recipes of the 15th-16th century, these dishes were prepared for the sultans.
