Despite the desire to rewrite the history of the 2nd World War, the negative attitude towards the USSR imposed in all media, so far no one can forbid visiting these historical monuments that have recently become so unpopular. We visited it in the summer of 2019 during our vacation in Jurmala and were pleasantly surprised to see cars with German and French license plates in the memorial parking lot - so not everything is true that we are shown on TV. A very strong and atomospheric place that will not leave anyone indifferent and will make you reconsider your view of modern history. And also, be sure to take any toy with you as a gift to the little concentration camp prisoners who gave their lives for your future...

It's a very scary place. A children's death camp. From here, blood and organs were taken from children for German soldiers. There was nothing left of the camp itself, the barracks were demolished. They made monuments. Scary feelings when visiting. The only thing that causes disgust is the attitude towards those who liberated this place, to the soldiers of the USSR
